Why the undersized thrusters?This is the build I want to get to. Not a fighting ship for sure but not made of paper either without giving up too much jump range. I need a lot more engineers though.

And do yourself a favor and skip the clean drives, they are crap. Dirty all the way.
edit: and another advice - if possible and you have access use a guardian powerplant, you can go down to a size 6 by that, reduces your weight and cost/rebuy by a lot

After reading your heat concerns, a guardian pp is definitely not for you. But you should consider a low emissions plant.Thanks for the tip.... Guardian stuff is definitely something I'm going to pursue.
