What ship brings you the MOST PRIDE?!?

I've been rediscovering the small ships in ED and have been enjoying the Adder of late. This one is fitted out to be an EW/nuisance vessel; best as part of a wing.

They run really toasty, even when not a lot of juice is being pulled from them. I lost about 8% heat going from Guardian to G5 Armoured/Thermal Spread.

Wow. Oh lord no. I run in the very low 20's and some of the rings I'm in have me sitting in the mid to high 50's in normal space then the beams heat me up from there. No way I could eat 8% increase and sill get away hanging out at some of my haunts. I already have to drop a heatsink just to low wake out without spiking the heat hard.

The pride of my fleet is my Corvette.
I absolutely suck in combat and it keeps me save no matter what I do, be it hauling cargo or passengers or clearing a HazRes or CZ.
The joy when being interdicted by a deadly conda who's out for my cargo knowing he's going to fail miserably.
Jamming 54 first class passengers in the cargo hold and room to spare for an slf and fsd booster.
I took me while to get her the way I wanted and a lot of credits but she's my pride and joy.

Technically - whichever gets the job done.

By my standards, that usually means : G5 Engineered and perfectly optimized for an assigned role.

I got a soft spot for my Corvette though... A Hybrid build commonly identified as a PvE build that's been exceedingly successful in PvP just as well.
Not doing that anymore but it won countless Wars as well when I was still active with the BGS.
That rig got me safely out of the most crazy of situations and has saved the live of a Wingman more than once in heated combat.

Why are you favorite haunts different layers of hell?

Back in the day were enginnering was harder and there was no clear limit as to the best possible outcome, I made an exploration Asp Explorer which jumped about 56 Ly IIRC. At the time that was quite a lot for an AspX, I still remember the two weeks of hard grind it took me to roll 100 times my FSD, sadly, I only got marginally better results compared to what I already had. Felt really proud about it.

As a lover of things huge and big, I would have to say that both my engineered Imperial cutter & Corvette brings me pride. I went through all those countless hours of grind because I hope that one day I could walk around and look outside from within these beasts. Its gonna be glorious whenever that happens.

When I used to play, it was the Midnight Type 10. Bulky, Tanky, Intimidating, Industrial. Full Beams, Two Rockets Pods, Internal Repair Module. Fighter Bay: One Beam Taipan With Midnight Paint Job, Other, Full White Beam Imperial Fighter. Ran a Sexy Engineered Power Distributor for Multicrew and a Juicy Power Plant to fit my weapons. Beams were Glowing Red, that lit up the dark side of any RES, like my Fighters. Fully Engineered Engines for chase potential and Fully Engineered FSD for those long-range Runs to where my crew was.

Boy, it was beautiful.

Yes but the beluga is bigger and better than both of those, also, it is more glorius and you will be able to get a better view from it
