Hmmm. CZones, eh? RP-ing bad guys? Right. How bad is it? 😋
Anyhoo, Old Duck, you're heading for a Low Intensity CZ, but I have heard that they are harder to survive in than High Intensity ones*. Just sayin' 😉

*Information invalidated if other humans are on opposite side

I'm not sure that's strictly true anymore, since CZ's have a defined "finish line."

The reason high CZ were easier to survive in before was because ships just kept spawning and spawning forever -- so the more ships there were, the easier it was for you to "blend in" and not get focused.

In low CZs now you'll finish the conflict before things get so thinned out that you're being singled out too much.

I've not yet been in the CG's. Was gonna get some combat bonds to unlock Tod "the blaster", think this will work for that too?
No! Tod needs bounties not bonds.

They will however help get you an invitation from Juri Ishmaak.

The problem with using CGs for anything other than invitations from engineers is that you have to hand in CGs at that station not at the engineers base.

Haven´t seen one think which was not there in a standart community goal before, have you?
+ Palin rescue II2 phase 2.5...
Mega ship repair and defence... there is NO CG function for Mega ship repair or defence... Because mega ship repair was added after they built the CG system...
just like player submitted CGs can not be built with mega ship defence missions... because the CG system does not have a box to tick for that...
It has not been added to CG system.... but was included in the II..

The choice is low or medium last I checked, and crazy as it sounds, I find medium the hardest of the three because of those spec-op ships. I'd much rather deal with a capital ship.

Though if PvPers show up to take the side of Scythe, then I'm doomed either way unless my side has some CMDRs as well.

Low and Medium are harder if you're in an engineered big ship because enemies target the biggest threat, which would be you. I'm targeted in my Krait until a Conda or an allied Spec Ops shows up.

I find strange that we have only 2 CZ and quite far one from another.

Apart from that tonight everything seems to work as it should.

My combat rank is going up, some credits are coming in, and I’m having fun.

Sometimes feels nice not having big expectations :)

So, colour me perplexed. Despite the overwhelming support for Bruthanvan Co, they did not win the tick for the day. The conflict itself is still in a DRAW state.

This means that the Scythes are SUCCESSFULLY FIGHTING BACK, enough to stonewall progress of Bruthanvan Co.

So for those fighting for the right side of this, dig in, play hard, get your mates involved and push Bruthanvan Co back, if only to prove that I'm an arrogant windbag. The average contribution to the CG is a mere 1.3m per person... in just an hour's play and 4 medium CZ's cleared you can earn double that no problems.

So,
  • Keep winning CZs for the Scythes
  • Keep handing in bonds for the Scythes
  • Clear "Combat Aftermath" USS for the Scythes
  • Run missions for the Scythes

One CZ does not provide interface to choose side... Broken.
The other CZ doesn't reset, so everything is green... Broken.
Sometime CZ is 100% red at start, very scary place, and then high wake doesn't work! ... Broken.
Multiple CTD.... BROKEN.

I was actually looking forward to this CG (and have enjoyed the few times it has worked). Oh well.
