Does the Diamondback Scout still have the wrong cockpit?

But the only thing stupid here is the consideration to get a Diamondback Scout when the Explorer is probably THE best explorer ship in the entire game, period. Never waste credits on ANYTHING with 'scout' in its name.

Actually yes LOL. Cockpit texture bugs and such are really hurting my ability to play.
And bloody hell there are a lot of them right now.
That's an argument that only has validity if OP was thinking of getting a DBS for exploration rather than an Explorer.
Also the DBX isn't even remotely the 'best explorer' in the game. It's good value for money but the simple fact that you have to scoop a class 5 tank with a class 4 scoop rules it out as the best explorer.
The Diamondbacks are not ships I use regularly but I believe something is yellow that should be blue. Or the other way around maybe?
Nothing game breaking to my knowledge, they have effectively the same cockpit. Still, it should be addressed if it isn't intended. The Cobra MkIV lost it's keyboard a while back too
Just buy one. It's so cheap you won't notice if you don't like it.
In my opinion it's one of the best ships in the game.
The game becomes a completely different experience from the perspective of a small ship.
If you're using the DBS as an exploration ship instead of an insanely agile fighter that will both outrun and outturn a fer-de-lance, has four utilities on a small ship, insanely good heat management, the best 2M2S convergence of any ship in the game, and will still jump 30ly on a combat fit, you're using the DBS wrong.

But buy one, take a peek and be prepared for the minor loss if it offends your eye

Yes, it's still the wrong cockpit, with the scout light colours. You can keep your arx arguments and open letters, ADS whines and "influencer" videos - this is the real disgrace.

Again, why use the Scout when you have the Eagle for combat?

The only benefit of the Eagle is the cheaper rebuy. Which would be handy if they went head to head.

Meh, it's probably my link. I've never had much luck with coriolis
Essentially if you kit both out similar things with G5 engineering the DBS brings 200 more mj shields, 300 more hull points, a faster cruising speed and boost speed, double the jump range and if you load out both with all rails you get over 60 more DPS.
