Launcher changed today?

I'm not using Steam and getting the same errors.

Wonder if it has anything to do with the launch of the ED store today? It connects to the game account to show what has been purchased.

The launcher does not have a play button, instead it has a purchase button. I have already purchased this game, why is it doing this? Wont let me play.

This. Try clicking any of your games Store Page. You get Error codes.

The end is near..

For example the OP is correct the game is currently knackered at the launcher.

That's not true. I played it just the other day.

Looks like a company wide issue. If you access the frontierstore at this moment, all you get is a Magento standard error...

Same issue here...Purchase is the only option on the launcher.

I guess FDs finances are not as good as we thought.....

I had the same launcher with purchase button. Just restarted the ED launcher twice and then it worked - as in back to normal.

When I launched the game I got to "logging in" and just sat there without much happening. I just let the animation spin and suddenly I got in after about 3 - 5 minutes.

Oh well, I was only trying to get some cash anyway for the fleet carriers which are now not going to happen. Time to trim my toe nails with a Dremel.

Got the "Purchase" button problem, too. Looks like the Launcher is tied to the Steam API (regardless how you purchased the game) and since Steam is down (thank you Halloween Sale), the login for ED is broken (my guess).
