Full ADMIRAL or KING rank to purchase a Fleet Carrier?

King isn't exactly hard to get. In the right systems you can go from Outsider to King in less than a day. Admiral is a bit more time consuming, but apart from a few die hard Hudson supporters who wants to go to extra effort just to get a more spartan utilitarian look to your multi-billion credit mobile home?
Slavers and the military are a dead-end .that's why the Alliance is the real leader of the Galaxy.
😭

Ooh: How about, a CMDR purchasing an FC must be a KING or ADMIRAL and ranked Triple-Elite? There's incentive for a CMDR to grind. 😁
Personally, I am a loner and currently have zero interest in owning a FC, I just like to ...

That's what I thought. Hot air, nothing more.

While I would prefer there was a bit more to it than just a wad of cash, I not sure what sort of game play I would like to require in addition to whatever grind is needed for the large wad of cash. Grinding this or that tends to just be annoying after a time. Especially if you have to grind this, that, and that, plus another thing, to do something.

I suspect there are some here seeing if they can get others to grind these ranks, probably pointlessly.

To move the discussion on a bit, I would like to add a verifiable fact, and in this very post no less.

I like to eat frozen peas.
I can take them or leave them. I used to work in a frozen food factory so I've literally seen tons of them, maybe even kilotons in my time. Frozen raspberrys are great but messy when they melt, frozen kiwi fruit is not very nice and has a kind of aspirin taste.

Maybe if the carriers could snap together into massive rings around a center platform, forming a governing body which would allow us to cast votes and/or make proposals.

Perhaps a galaxy-wide gathering 2x a year, or monthly fed/imp gatherings.... and if you show up, you get a chance to participate.

to be honest, it makes perfect sense..... a) a reason to reach that level b) a lower rank CMDR shouldn't be able to fly one.

but, carriers are not super power variants or are they ? if not related to feds or imps, does it matter?

Why would an explorer have the rank of Admiral, that just makes no sense. I would much more think that variations of FC's should have locking according to use. Exploration version Elite Explorer, mining version Elite Miner, Combat Version Elite Combat etc, but having the exploration version locked behind Admiral or King? Explain how that makes sense.
