Working Vendor Carts / Popcorn carts / Etc - Why don't any games have this?

It's no surprise that this game doesn't have any of these, but what is more surprising is that virtually no game has them.....and they are an absolute staple in every amusement park / zoo in existence.

Why is that?

I don’t remember seeing them on Planet Coaster (but I lack DLC and it’s probably there), but Zoo Tycoon 2 had carts for sure! Fruit, ice cream, pretzels, popcorn...

I might be going mad - I was so sure there was a popcorn vending machine but google is not showing anything 😅
I thought I had placed one in one of the parks I had made - oh well!

I'd rather have ZT2 large restaurants personally. The carts were cool but they'll just mean more litter = more bins needed around your zoo.
The plushie gift carts would be a nice addition though as a change from the gift huts (though again, I'd rather have a proper gift shop).

IDK about you guys, but all the zoos I've been to have massive restaurants and a huge gift shop near the entrance. It's daft trying to serve thousands of guests from a bunch of tiny huts.

Rollercoaster Tycoon World attempted this and failed miserably. It's a great idea though.

Worked fine in ZT2. Once you got enough rating, you could replace all your food huts with a few restaurants.

Made your zoo look so much neater, cut down on the queues & removed the need for tonnes of bins everywhere.

I've never seen one in a real life zoo or roller coaster park. At least not here in Germany.

Would imagine there probably some issues from health and safety issue regulators (also bad weather). Just easier to set up a permanent building and sell the food indoors.

Tends to be something I'd see at faires or a travelling amusement parks/circus, where they move around a lot.

Cart vendors on zoos aren’t a thing on Spain either.

Maybe it’s an Europe thing. Maybe they don’t really have them in the United Kingdom either and that’s why they didn’t think of adding them. I mean, they are cool, but if I was developing a zoo game I wouldn’t think of them either.
