I'm not sure if mine is out there, as I /think/ he's a tier 1 or tier 2 NPC. But that might not be differentiated out yet. Same as ChrisITA, named for my son and entered before he was born.

Well, My Dad died two years ago so when I bought this game I put him down as an NPC so he can fly around in my elite universe - hoping to bump into him one day.

He is dead now, but when I had the option of putting a name in the kickstarter I used his because I thought he would like his name living on in something else.

My brother passed away 2 years ago, he loved Elite so he will be forever flying around as an NPC.

Hopefully i don't find him and have to shoot him.

I did the same thing for my older brother, who loved playing Elite in his C64, and who passed away very suddenly four years ago. Almost 30 years ago, he introduced me to Elite and computer gaming in general. He always talked about how it was about time someone finally developed Elite 4. I wonder if I'll meet him some time on his travels among the stars...

Is there any way to check if a particular name actually made it into the game?
