Seems it has started and is giving a 30% discount on ship kits and Covas.

If you are after a ship kit or a voice pack now is the time to buy them!

No midnight black paint jobs yet, but as I have been told they are added only on Black Friday each year.

Yes Arx is correct. No sale on Arx though, which would of been nice.

That is certainly a reasonable assumption. I will keep checking each day for new additions to the sale. Hopefully the black paint jobs are added on the Friday.

I guess Arx really doesn't have the intended effect on me. Some things look even more expensive than they actually are. 9k, reduced from 13k? And then I make 15 Arx in a game session? That seems deterring.

Couldn't say no to the iCourier kit for about a fiver (but had to buy the 5.99 euro pack). Swore to myself not to buy any more kits but that's a reasonable price and the kit is one of the better ones to be fair.

Have now a leftover Arx balance that I can't really use on anything apart from a low tier PJ but might just save it for next month when the shiny paints (chrome etc) hopefully appear.

And a more serious reply, I don't think there's ever going to be a sale on Arx. People would practically get the discount twice and Frontier couldn't control which items are on sale.

I'm not spending a dime in the store anymore, with the new fss mechanic coming my time playing ED might as well be over so I don't see the purpose of buying anything now.

I've bought the expansion for Age of Wonders: Planetfall instead.

When we worked the Arc to £ ratio out, turned out most things are cheaper under the ARX system than before. They don't do they six Paint pack bundles anymore but I only bought them for the one skin I liked in the pack.

Pardon my apparent confusion, but is it really a lack of common sense for me to assume the Black Friday skins would be on offer when the Black Friday sale started?

Arx has been on sale on the Xbox store in the past. Same when it was Frontier points. It doesn’t happen very often, but I usually try and grab some when they are on sale.
