It is not much money, yes, but considering four texture packs change nothing besides the look of ONE dinosaur species, two bucks are still not cheap.
Furthermore, Frontier did publish a lot of free stuff, I'll give you that, but (except the Nasu and the FK update as somebody reminded me of that fact) all dinosaur expansions were part of paid content; three DLCs (good ones) in total... The base game is still lacking in several aspects, but instead of focussing on that, they put 50/50 effort into both slowly expanding the game and adding paid content. With all additional content bought, I have the feeling that one spends more money on this game than it's actually worth.

I agree with you on your main points, especially that it feels like more money than it's worth once you add it all up, seeing as at this point all the DLC combined totals to being more than the base game itself yet the content doesn't add up to it.
However I just wanted to point out that I think you forgot about the Fallen Kingdom update that was free, it added 6 dinosaurs, so the nasu/battle at big rock wasn't the only free dino added post-launch.

Got the update showing the DLC. The button prompt to go buy it gets me to a content unavailable thing. :/ What time was this content supposed to release. I'm a PS4 user. Was really excited for this, but now I'm kinda bummed.

Try again now! I had the same thing happen, and it just finally got added to the store for me. It had to do with what time the ps store updates in different regions.

I wonder if people are confused with the following when the Raptor Squad Skin Collection DLC is released:

General Fixes & Tweaks
  • Dinosaurs
    • Nasutoceratops, Homalocephale and Acrocanthosaurus animation fixes
  • Various localisation fixes
  • Various stability fixes
Is it part of the hidden free Update 1.11 or is it part of the DLC?

If it is part of the free update, I will not purchase the skin DLC.

Not entirely sure, but I believe it is a small, free update. But again, I'm not certain.

To those who are using Steam in the PC, anybody remember that the game is updated when the DLC comes out?
The update was installed, but Steam gave out no information about the update other than the DLC being released.
