My take is quite simple; no matter what you partake 'in-game' in, you should be able to earn the same amount of Arx per hour on average.
I'm seeing a 3200% variation over 2 hours play between exploring & selling the data and Mining. This simply cannot be right in any way. I don't believe anyone should 'feel' as if they need to carry out any specific activity in order to earn these in-game credits, which are supposed to be a bonus 'whatever playstyle you have'.
I also saw a 1600% variation between my exploration Arx return and that received on carrying out missions.
FD have chosen to make these part of the game world now and so should balance them accordingly. I don't believe anyone should have to make the choice to explore simply to improve their Arx 'return on effort'. This is a mindset FD have created by introducing Arx, which could drive people away from their preferred activity to the extent they enjoy the game less, or simply not log in and eventually 'walk away' from a dissatisfying experience. The reality of this disparity of the value of various activities has made me not really want to log in since last Thursday's 'tick'.
