Planet Zoo - Update 1.1.0 coming 17 December

This is hella awesome!
But one thing I have to point out - please fix the issue that animals can escape trough their habitat. It costs a lot of refund costs. And it’s annoying having an hippo glitching through the walls and then walking in the zoo like they own it.
Other than that. Keep it up!

Shouldn't be costing you refunds since the 1.04 patch unless your visitors are super unhappy about other things too. I agree they need to fix the issue, but I haven't been hit with refunds when it happens since that patch.

Oh I didn’t know. I do not really pay attention to my money in my breeding zoo (what I’m currently playing) since I’m on -1 Million money lol. But I remembered it causing massive refunds a few updates before. If it’s fixed. Thanks - but still - please fix the glitching issue. I’ve just reported it on the issue tracker!

Thats amazing news! I was hoping for something like this since we didn't hear from you guys for a while :p

Im especially super happy with the slow animal aging option, crime management (so I can see the vandalism) and the extra winter stuff!!

Looking forward to the bug fixes as well. I would love to know if the peafowl's tail animation has been fixed in 1.1.0.

Hey Veranel, they will be fixed in 1.1.0! Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for reporting it there! We're also improving how refunds are broken down in the Finance tab so that will be easier to see what is causing problems!

Although i like that we can slow animal aging, i was hoping we could slow down time in general. In one zoo my zoo is 60+ years old and im stiill in building fase and havent even opened yet in sandbox mode. Atleast give us the option to change how old our zoo is / how many years have passed in our zoo.

Have there been any improvements in the logic of pathfinding for staff and guests to prevent them getting stuck for no apparent reasons and all things similar to how they get around?

I've also noticed that guests would rather create a huge line of people (and thus, slow everything down) rather than take a longer way around if there are multiple ways to go to a certain animal for example. This is kinda silly. Taking a shorter path makes sense, but there should be an alternative option in case the shorter way has too many people.

The reason it's not possible to simply "change the in-game time" is because so many systems rely on each other, so we'd inevitably create a balancing nightmare and introduce many game-breaking bugs for our players. Slow Animal Aging is a step towards giving you the control over time in your games, without ruining it for everyone else who's fine with things. It's a great solution our dev team have come up with!

! These Heat Maps involve crime, staff happiness, animal breeding, habitat cleanliness and updates to negative impacts, such as litter and thrown food.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU! ❤
All of the new features sound amazing and are things a lot of players have asked for but not being able to see crime and litter annoyed me more than anything so far.. I can't wait!!

Guests getting stuck on Staff Paths will be fixed in Update 1.1!
