Just bought the game

Need is a strong term (I have 4 accounts already...), but the ED universe is huge (approximately galaxy sized!) and there are so many places to go, see, be and things to find, experience and do that it can be super convenient to have CMDR's in place to do whatever takes ones fancy at short notice - Colonia is 20k LIGHT YEARS away from inhabited space, that's a bit more than you can cover on a saturday morning when you suddenly decide 'you know what, I wanna go do something Power Play/Guardian/Thargoid/Formidine Rift -ish today!'.

This, took me about an hour to make it work at a friend of mine, unfortunately, cause of uncounted repeats I am no more able to tell how or why it worked in the end. Nu Nu Nu - shakin head ...

Glad to hear it got sorted for you so quickly, hopefully @V3nkman and @DarkCarney get fixed quick too. (Frontier support are great.)

BTW - I definitely have too many accounts - like @SpaceGoblin I have them for different activities and locations - I have one out in the black, over 55Kylies* away in the Abyssal Plain and others in the bubble plus of course my recent mucking-about-in-the-noob-zone one. Frontier used to have sale price offers for the game and that is why I ended up with so many - the recent one was to check out the new Steam registration method plus to have an account in the starter area for videos and to help out if needed.

Hello CMDR.
Thanks for getting in touch.
It seems that the Humble keys currently on sale aren't granting the correct license :(
You won't have an actual Steam key with this as we no longer distribute those.
I've fixed your licenses, so you now ought to be able to log in using the 'Steam log in' button in the launcher :)
Please don't hesitate to get back in touch at any time if you've any other queries or issues.

Hi, I'm having the same problem and sent a ticket to Frontier, they sent a new login code and after entering that I just looped back to the same problem.

My humble bundle purchase is only allowing "play demo"

Can you help please?

Hello there! I can only really direct you to @Para Handy 's post on the first page (#11) of this thread, to confirm that you have linked your Steam account and Frontier account correctly.

If you have and it's still looping you back to 'play demo', hopefully you can continue your dialoguw with Frontier Support through your existing ticket, or you may have to open a new one.

I've given in to temptation, and purchased another ED account using the Humble Bundle offer - same as everyone else, ain't working, just launched my ticket :cool:
