My plan for 2020 is to save money to upgrade my PC in 2021 when the planets with atmosphere, flora and fauna will come with the "New Era" (I hope).
Lol, ye. Postponed indefinitely, tho.

I've been playing for a little over 2 and a half years. So far, I have yet to:
I'm pretty sure I have enough things to keep me busy until the end of next year regardless of what the "New Era" content is and whether not I buy it. Hopefully by the time I get around to doing anything "New Era" related I will have enough money to upgrade from my laptop
- Reach combat Elite (I'm currently at 37% Master)
- Unlock Lori Jameson (see previous)
- Unlock Chloe Sedesi
- Unlock any of the Colonia Engineers (currently slated for when my exploration trip reaches Colonia)
- Own every ship in the game (I'm currently at 18 out of 38, and have ideas for a whole bunch of ship builds)
- Find every type of star, planet, geological / biological site, and alien artifact / ship in the Codex
- Save up enough credits to buy a fleet carrier

Heh, we just like seeing places and I'm retired so all the time in the world.
We mostly book two short trips and one longer summer vacation.
Last year we've been to Malaga, Berlin and Souther Italy.
Be honest, do you call those "short trips" because your wife vetoed "expeditions"?
My plan for 2020 is to get my main account to Colonia before the “New Era” goes into Beta. Still making my slow way back from DW2.

Politics aside (or overboard, preferably), what went into building that sailboat is beyond ironic for what it's being used for.
No, I'm just a boats! boats! boats! kinda guy. I'm in love with boats and (thankfully) lack the space for one, which in turn keeps my wallet a little fuller. (A little). I was mostly saying since you like traveling so much, you ought to consider the liveaboard life! Seriously, look up a Ranger Tug or Nordhaven. I'd recommend a blue water sailboat, but I'm not savvy on that (yet).
Nah, no boat for me, way to expensive regarding maintenance and winter stalling here in the Netherlands.
I like driving a good car so Mercedes it is, right now I own a 2018 E53 Amg coupe, in 2020 I'd like a newer model.
We mostly travel by airplane and rent a car at our destination when needed.
