The 'intention' behind this original Twitter post is to generate the sense of 'need for an insta-button-hyper-drive-get-me-there-quick' mode of travel through the Galaxy. It's preparing us for demanding something that is already planned for New Era. And FD says, 'we listened' and now give you Hyper-hyper-drive :unsure:

Or they just want to waste everyone's time give everyone something to talk about in the absence of anything on Galnet 😒

Oh, I think it goes further back than that.

A peduncle tree is a set of "feet" on the ends of long straight branches, which might by analogy with the "feet" be called "legs" ... and they're in space.

They've been planning this one for years...

(I do wonder, given how much tinfoil and specifically latin tinfoil regularly flies around in the search for Raxxla, if Frontier expected someone to notice earlier)

Apparently they are doing that kind of "Wish you are here" posts for quite some time.
So it's nothing more than a Marketing campaign.

Hence the reason it's not on the Forums or in Game - They already sold the game to us...

Social Media manager posts content on social media platform to promote game. I'm outraged.
If they don't post something on the platform, there'll be a snarky forum post along any moment proclaiming FD has no interest in their own game.
You'd think people had nothing better to do than look for something to complain about...
