How many animals should DLC packs have

What price-tag are you looking at?
The same as the Arctic Pack (€ 9,99?) or (€19,99-ish)

Wouldn't mind all that for 9,99, though :D

I think the price and new animals/new features/building items will be more important.
Paying € 10,- is a quick decision compared to € 30,-

Hopefully the next DLC will give us more insight in the DLC expectations for PZ.

Me personally I look at the Arctic pack and I’m overall very happy with that pack. Sure I would have liked more animals but for me does 4 animals and a building pack plus two scenario options render a 10$ price tag? Absolutely imo. Depending on how much dlc is offered in this game I really don’t see the difference between a eight pack which would take longer or a few more four packs as both would offer the same in the end. I also think a pack containing a few new animals is more entertaining then a pack of eight to ten containing more similar animals to what we have already so I do think a four pack can be just as effective depending on what is offered.

Yeah, I'd like to see bigger packs but leaning slightly towards the size of the Arctic Pack (maybe + 1 or 2 exhibit animals)

Personally I would pay € 20,- for 8 animals in an African Pack - there are still a lot of personal favorite African animals not in-game.
I'm not willing to pay € 20,- for an 8 animal Australian Pack, I only prefer 2-3 Australian animals. But most likely, I am willing to pay € 10,- for 4 Australian animals.
(ofc, this all depends on the selection of animals but we all have our favorite biome/continent etc)

I think the smaller packs/more frequent DLCs are the smart move, and IMO the best way to keep interest.

I like to think the 4 animals/building DLC are comparable to the JWE new dinos DLC (approx. 3-4 months waiting)
And the aviaries/birds & marine/aquatic animals are comparable to the "Back to Jurassic Park" DLC, (1,5 years waiting)

Ok let's do it again, try to read carefully this time, i have underlined the important part for you: "I just thought Arctic DLC was a bit overpriced, for 10€ i'd expect at least 6 animals with some plants and/or building pieces."
I'm not an expert in mathematics but i only can count 4 species so far in this DLC so maybe there's enough building pieces but not with at least 6 species, which is what i'd like for this price.

I’m pretty sure the launch on November 5th and dlc a month later might have had something to do with that. I still only see similar packs being released as anyone with experience coding and designing will tell you it takes time to make rigs and animations. Could be wrong of course on the dlc numbers but will see I guess. To me if frontier had a plan to release 15-25 animals hypothetically over 2-3 yrs what’s the difference if you get them in 4 or 8?

Yea ikr? Sorry if that was a bit rude but i'm just bored that as soon as there the slightest criticism in a thread meant to give an opinion some people are so eager to jump on you even if it's to put up false arguments.
I mean i love the game as much as you probably do, giving an opinion that you may not share doesn't mean i'm ting on the game.

Do you think just 3 animals for € 4,99 is fair? (no building items and scenarios)

(JWE has the Herbivore/Carnivore Pack: 3 dinos/€4,99)

No offense taken. I did not mean to shut your criticism, as any opinion is valued if presented in good manner. I simply though that you maybe were not aware that there are also building pieces, for example in case you have not purchased arctic pack yet. Just wanted to point to that :)

I think a 5$ pack with 5 animals and nothing else would be nice for the African animals they missed like the jackass penguin, meerkat, one of the 2 rhinos, etc.

Your wording in the initial post implied that the Arctic Pack was only four animals and nothing else, not that you expected what you got and still yet more.

It has nothing to do with shutting down arguments, it's just that what you said was ripe for misunderstanding. Nobody cares if you do or don't "poopoot" on the game, plenty of people have both good things and bad things to say about Planet Zoo.

I don't get what you don't get in my initial post, the use of the words "at least" followed by "with" just imply that i expect both the 6 animals and the building pieces for this price and that either one of the criteria wasn't met in the arctic DLC pack (6 species), now English is not my primary language so i may lack a subtility in something or being biased by my own language mental mechanics but for me the meaning is without ambiguity.

Look I really don't care, I was just explaining where the misunderstanding came from. If you don't want to hear it then fine, that's up to you, but next time don't get all up in arms if people take the wrong meaning from your posts.

the people, that play the game now, will certainly buy any dlc with any content at any price. if you wish to bring back lost players or catch new, the dlc should be more convincing but that kind of games are made for a very niche audience (we are a special kind of elite ^^), and to attract new players might not be the right strategy now. of course i also would like to have more of everything, but it is not important from frontiers point of view i guess.
