It seems my eyes need checking. I read the materials for the experimental effect from the line below the one I intended (ie, stripped down instead of mass manager). The materials are the same except for the proto alloy, which should be exchanged for an eccentric hyperspace trajectory. Makes sense, light alloys are good for building light stuff, hyperspace data for helping the fsd perform better.

I probably read the first two mats from the list and then looked for the third in the same list. Sorry about that.

Edit: This also goes to explain how you ended up needing an extra eccentric hyperspace trajectory.

Well, if you are anyway going to Maia, there are some barnacle sites nearby if they have sold out (or if you don't want to pay ...).

You can try Hyades Sector AQ-Y d81 C 2. It is around 120 ly from Maia.

In a station choose outfitting select the module on your ship and click modifications, be careful not to hit the remove button.
On your ship in the right hand screen go to the modules tab and click on the module and the show info button.

when it shows jump range in galaxy map what are the figures in brackets? I assume the ones before it are the actual current range.

So does this mean that anytime I want a FSD I get a G5 one? But only my current 5A FSD has an experimental effect bonus? If I want an experimental effect on a new drive then I have to visit Felicity again?

You can check a module's engineering status in the Modules tab on the right panel. Just select the module and show info.

I just need to check that I pinned the blueprint correctly. I did this at the end of G5. I pinned and then unpinned and then pinned again? I am still with Felicity so is there nayhting more I should do/check? What about starting a G1 FSD faster boot sequence while I am here? I assume it will mean a faster experience when engaging FSD which could be handy?
