Remember folks, there are more LTDs in Open than Solo!
That's incorrect.

The point of a beta is to test the new things (in this case carriers) and this can help the developers to know the bugs so the release can be a good one. The more people test it, the more chances are to find bugs and report them so can be fixed in time. I don't have to earn anything, its a beta not early aces or something like that. If you don't know what a beta is then better don't post anything.Yes you should feel the pain as if you were in live version. Earn it then test it
I have it on good authority that it is.That's incorrect.
Please see my previous post. You don't need to buy one to test one. Okay, is this post saying that the normal, not-Beta game will update to the new version on 30th April, bringing any Beta progress you've saved with it?
The reason I ask is, I'm not on the Beta and I'm assuming that this post is saying that Beta testing is now completed and the new content will now go live. I just bought a load of prismatic shields and I'm wondering if I need to store them all on ships to avoid losing them in the update?
(I don't have more than grade I power plant engineering access yet, or any idea which ships I want to eventually use them with)
There are however more players to pirate them off in Open. That's incorrect.
Other player's Fleet Carriers offer nothing of value to a Poor™ folk like myself, so once again I'll pass. Please see my previous post. You don't need to buy one to test one. They want feedback from The Poors™ as well.

If they want only a few to test it then why i should bother to join the beta? They could do a closed beta and invite only few people. Why should i bother to test and fill reports if they don't really want everyone to test it? If i have a carrier i can test it as my own and also join other carriers to test them, but if i don't have one i can only test only few basic things like dock, undock, buy, sell, click on windows, nothing about management, jump etcPlease see my previous post. Grinding for beta, how sad.
Seem to have run out of stick metaphors.
Been here since prembeta so quite familiar how things have been.Play your own way, let them play theirs
We do not usually get to find out before-hand when the beta snapshot will be taken for most betas it doesn't matter. For this one, for some players, it does![]()
You are a very naughty boy.Remember folks, there are more LTDs in Open than Solo!
I seem to recall actually paying for beta privelages a long time ago.
I wonder what perks we should get since the beta is open to all.
Yes that is correct but i think there are plenty of players that can afford a carrier or one of the new assets. Beta-testing includes landing and all the other stuff too. Not everybody needs to buy a carrier to get the beta done. The point of a beta is to test the new things (in this case carriers) and this can help the developers to know the bugs so the release can be a good one. Personally even as gloomy and cynical as I can be I find the effort required to come up with anything negative about a timely warning to be too much of a grind.Been here since prembeta so quite familiar how things have been.
It is a welcome change to have notice on the snapshot considering the credits required.
I do however feel there is a huge manipulation of the players to get online and grind LTD/credits.
One wonders if a board meeting at the company is imminent?
