Alliance Crusader needs new paintjobs!

Last ship in ED with only three basic paintjobs to chose from. Come one FDev make a change, please deliver something fresh for this underrated ship. Even Asp Scout has more to chose from, come on... How about bringing this new paintjob called "Crossfire" for good start? Fellow Crusaders, post screenshots, builds, let's raise some Crusader awareness

My Crusader is Tactical White, which I think looks pretty good. I would rather her painted Pharaoh White, which shouldn’t be hard for Frontier to add as they have that color already on the Chieftain.

This Crusader is about as close am I’m likely to get to a Fleet Carrier so I’ve named her USS Langley CV-1.

Friday is tomorrow and we're hoping to see a NEW paint job for the Crusader along with that leaked shipkit :)

Oh man that drops tomorrow? I love me some ship kits, so I'm excited for the Crusader owners.

The Crusader is a ship I really want to love, but that 6/5/3/3/... layout makes my eye twitch. That kind of disparity between the high slots and the low slots, so I don't have an option to put a shield in the third highest if I wanted to do a cargo run and carry fighter for protection, just bothers me on some sort of core level.

Even if she's a POS, it's part of why I love my Keelback. It's may be falling apart at the seams, but her internals are balanced and that gives me a particular level of comfort.

Looks good, but...
I couldn't help myself, so this is an honest question: what makes the Crusader preferrable over the Challenger? On paper, all points except for the price go to the Challenger - faster, more agile, more hardpoints, one larger internal, more jump range... - so, why do you prefer (if you do) the Crusader over the Challenger? It can't be the 5 MCr. price difference, surely.

I can see some advantage to the Chieftain due to higher speed and agility, but the Crusader looks like the Challenger's red-headed step brother.

I like the look of the Crusader and how fun she is, for lack of one medium hardpoint you get slf capability, also hardpoint layout allows for really creative builds. Honesty the Crusader handles really well and well enough for all fixed hardpoints. I was disappointed by the Gunship with poor agility and low speed. The Crusader compared with the Gunship moves like a ballerina. It is also one of the best options for A-rated medium combat ship with slf that costs ~50 mil cr including LYR rebates. I won't get the Chally though - spoiler engines are fugly.
