If you purchased directly from FD, just log into the store and you will be able to download what you purchased.

Download Elite Dangerous which will install the launcher and then you will be able to upgrade / download the game.

Also, make sure that you have logged into the correct account - this is a common issue if you are transferring over from console.
Is this another issue with there being the ".com" site and the ".net" site? It is like a dog's dinner with all the spread-out stuff.
