Hey Guys,

I have been playing around in game and took a few screenshots (in a hauler, so you can see my GUI, sorry) but I think they look pretty sweet, the game graphics just gets better and better, and I just wanted to share. The game just look so incredible on my new ROG SWIFT PG278Q Monitor, I wish I could share the experience.

Yes I also bought a ROG SWIFT PG278Q damm this monitor is worth it's weight in gold. If anyone can splash some cash or over Christmas this monitor is fantastic you wont be disappointed :D

Damn!My game doens't look like that at all with a 1920x1080 monitor and a GTX460(with the graphics bug)!

Just so you are aware, if you edit your post and put Spoiler tags around your pictures it makes the thread easier to read ;)

I believe it's a Brown Dwarf, but the easiest way is to find the system on the Galaxy Map and then look at System Map, it will tell you when you click on the star (if you've scanned it anyway)

Just a tip, pressing Ctrl Alt G will disable most of the hud, makes for slightly less cluttered screenshots.

Awesome man! I have been wondering what the keybinds to disable the GUI/HUD. Should make my screenies abit better, when im using an Eagle-less ship lol.

There are some awesome screenshots here! Keep them coming, am curious as to what screenshots everyone has.

Off-topic question though guys, if I get an Eagle, and sell the loaned guns (2 of them), would I jump at least the same distance as a Hauler? does anyone know? I want to get some more sexy screenshots.

Well after converting the hi-res screenshots to jpegs to get the size down I still have almost 1Gb of pictures so I really couldn't post them all here :D

I am a big fan of 2560x1440 monitors. They are a massive upgrade over 1080p and a nice compromise for 4K.

I still prefer IPS models however. Input lag is not really perceivable and the difference in colours is amazing. TN panels look so washed out in comparison to IPS. The 144Hz over 60Hz is nice but not really needed.

You are also paying a premium for GSync which is not needed if you have the highest end cards as you will not dip below the refresh rate of the monitor with such hardware. The only time a stutter is perceivable is when you dip below the refresh rate of your monitor and the refresh rate is then halved.

Lovely screen caps :) The Mistana system is that Beta Lyrae? I know there's stars there that use to crash Elite II because the game could not calculate the stars orbit (insanely close and insanely fast)
