Newcomer / Intro D8veh - misssing in action?

I once left for almost a year, once, when I got fed up with the forum. So I wouldn't worry, yet. Maybe he just needed some R&R.
He definitely will be missed if he decided to leave altogether or of course if something happened to him.
Most of us here (or at least a decent percentage) are pretty old. People do just... disappear, sometimes.

He's probably found Raxxla and been transported to an alternative dimension.

I'm just trying to figure out how this thread got into "newcomers: guides, questions and tutorials" rather than "Discussions" boards?

Because d8veh was mostly active here in Newcomers. So he has lots of friends here.
Yeah, Ben was mostly absent even when he was still here.
But I haven't noticed L.L. is gone. Damn.

OK, I've had 4 cups. Now it's making sense. I do recall him being very active here. Somehow he has been silenced (hope he's OK) and I blame Oprah!
Makes you wonder what became of him? Maybe he stopped participating? Maybe he stopped playing altogether? Maybe something bad happened in his life?
There's also another gentleman, who shall remain nameless, who was just as active in the newcomer board who now avoids it due to the fact that a certain member dissed him (publicly) in one of those childish attempts to discredit him while inflating his own ego and superiority.
This one active member was one of the biggest helps for me when I first started playing. He is however still active on other boards.
Maybe d8veh experienced something similar and decided that it's simply better to not participate at all?

Well turns out that @d8veh has been very very ill. I have waited to update the forum because I didnt know the outcome but he seems a lot better now and is up and about.
I hope all members will join me in wishing him a speedy recovery and hope that he finds his way back here very soon.
He has only ever helped people on this forum to the best of his ability and has helped me a lot over the course of my ED experience. So come back @d8veh and get posting again!!

Thanks for the update. I hope @d8veh gets well real soon and we'll see him in the forums again.

D8veh asked me if he missed anything ED wise.
I mentioned deep core mining being ruined but what else has he missed? He loves ED and has been away since the start of July so lets give him a good catchmeup assuming he reads this post which I think he will.
