Patch Notes Fleet Carriers Update - Patch 4 Patch Notes

Have you tried mining in spots/overlaps that are on the edge/outskirts of bubble?

I have some "hunch" - I had the worst results betwen patch3/4 in the most known spots - although they are still "pristine".
So it should not make any difference.
My 210t etc runs were on my way back from Crystaline Shards grind trip. Near the bubble, but not really in.

I would try to "hop" spots as much as possible on your place,
to exclude option that FD introduced some SECRET CHANGE again - one that is supposed to push us to SLOWLY expand our playground.
I know it's stretched, but it somehow fits the Tritium yield changes.
Enough to mine for a few jumps when we run ot of fuel, but no enough to travel far.
Just a "out of thin air" idea. I seem to try really hard to "rationalize" FD choices ;)
As I said 2 times before, now will says 3rd - now it is 30kms :D

Just another random thought:

I wonder how many commanders would be ready to do as I did - buy SECOND account specifically for FC supported exploration purpose,
IF effort to achieve this AND then to explore would make it reasonable (again).

If the number was high enough, AND all this mess is accidental, someone in FD is stepping on thin ice.

Most of anger will burn out with time, so I don't really expect massive players exodus, beside - they have already payed for ED :)

BUT

sabotaging, even by ignorance, a significant wave of new buys by NOT PREDICTING the obvious consequences of some steps - well, this is something that translates into a number in finance department audit when it comes to judge the impact of every major decision, what errors were made and who is responsible ;)

i assure you tritium yields in overlaps 36,000 ly from the bubble are still abysmal. Any case CM's are aware and on the Tri2/3 overlap case and talking to Dev's according to their reddit reply.

Only I was answering to a post about VO hotspot.

Anyway "abysmal" is not very specific, it's gonna be hard to make any comparison to in-bubble results.

Here's a Thought Devs, Instead of screwing around with Hotspots and the amount of LTD's you can get per hour JUST reduce how much they are worth!!
You might actually get your Game working again!

Who cares about LTD, you can always mine something else for credits.
Even removing LTD from game completely wouldn't be a major issue.

nope ... I had already been banned for 3 months permanent. Then they unbanned me saying "sorry, we still don't know why we did it". So I was already risky enough paying arx later.

That what I said too. Universe is created and should not be touched. They had to modify refinery / prices / engines / lasers...anything not related to universe.

"Until we release a patch that really works, in 2025, FC will not need Tritium, and to compensate for our incompetence, without preparation and without cooldown in the carrier's jump.
We respect our consumers.
Our 100 programmers thank you for your patience over the years and your love for this game.
As a bonus, we’ll provide you with clues about Raxxla’s location "

PS ... 2025 if China hasn't taken over the world and censored this game

Well, well, hell has frozen over (a bit).
He specifically wrote "discussing it".
Not "we have passed this on" or anything like that.

I really wish that all my attempts to rationalize CURRENT state of Tri mining turn out to be wrong, in favor of the the simpler solutions (FD has botched the fix again).

This kind of being wrong I will gladly face and admit :)

Okey then ... I'm gona stop farming 350 VOs to finance my Colonia trip :D maybe they will change something. Because I'm enough of mining for next year to be honest.

You can always switch to mindless laser Painite mining.
Allegedly some players manage to watch Netflix simultaneously .

I know for sure that I do some things on my Phone while lasers are lasering ;)

PS. One of "How could I not have this idea sooner" moments is realizing, that you should bind collector limpets to the same button as lasers to ensure maximal amount of collectors working continuously.

On PC you can make make this button toggleable by some app, it makes this grind even more "efortless".
You press the button, do something else, then you press again when rock is depleted, fly to another rock.
repeat

Just make sure you won't fry your ship by depleting PD for too long.

I would not classify this kind of grind I wrote about as a "gameplay".

It's some kind of aberration, but... he have to deal with what we got, until better options emerge.

My Refinery was also full with 8T Tritium and 1T VO (one slot had 84% LTD from a previous session -- I never dump LTD :) )

This was my first outing for fuel after Patch 4 :
3.5 hours in a Tri1 hotspot 5000ly out from Sol, almost exactly 100T/hr for Rocket Tea alone, plus some money minerals from cores. Core SDs were not glitched, thank you very much FDevs for that small blessing. Though it's only one sample, it seemed to me that 1) laser mining is slightly more productive, 2) SD mining is about the same, and 3) SSD mining is much better. Core rock frequency is still lower than pre-FC numbers but I should mine an LTD or other money-mineral hotspot to confirm that.

My last rock on this outing was a wonder of a rock indeed -- Void Opal core, 5 Rocket Tea SSD veins as well as 26% intrinsic (though core intrinsic always depletes faster), and 1 Tri SD scab on the surface. All 5 of the SSD veins were what I classify as "strong" -- they did not deplete fast and had many single and 2-bar targets -- and the rotation was slight, so all in all a nice way to finish off the session.

As far as I'm concerned the Great Rocket Tea Drought is over, though it never really affected me much anyway.

Wow, that sounds fun.

"So engrossing, you can watch Netflix at the same time!"
Why is that not on the homepage?

Holly-molly ...u just need 2nd RL job. It seems 1 is not enough for u, so now u work as digger for free :D

What an idiotic statement. Fact of the matter is I could have stopped at 1.75 hours and still replaced all the fuel used for my last jump, which is the main reason for mining since exploration pays all my expenses and more, lots more. If you can't spare 2 hours to keep fuel in your tank maybe you shouldn't be flying an FC out of easy reach of a station. Or flying an FC at all.

Compared to mining I spend 8-10 times more hours doing exploration, and I never mix work with play lol. For me it's all play, forever. So very sorry you're still playing the role of wage-slave.
