Got so into that episode of Rainbow that I ended up sacking off reading the rest of the thread, and ceased worrying about the future direction of Elite.
The cycle will be embodied by the journey of a single user through the salt threads. The pattern will repeat for a large number of users no matter the features discussed and for all possible values of the variables involved.....

It's tomorrow I think. The only reason it's being considered a big deal is because FDev's communication policy is so poor. Whatever we actually find out tomorrow it probably won't be very much, but the sarcastic hoards are all frothed up at the prospect of the slightest bit of unironic enthusiasm getting through their wall of hate

Who knows you can perhaps use it to get one of those VR headsets and give it a try on Elite
Nah, VR's far too niche to bother with yet less than 2% of steam users have jumped on that particular bandwagon. That must be why game dev's don't bother wasting any resources on it
