Dearest friends of the forum, and most loathed morons too.
As we have a CG going on, and there are wonderful pirates everywhere, trying to entice people into open for some PvP, I think it is only fair that their hard work be recognized properly.
Consequently, and by wonderful coincidence, it is also "International Talk like a Pirate Day" - something that simply cannot be ignored any longer.
For 20+ years, this great global celebration has gone quietly under the radar, and I say enough is enough!
For today only, it is the duty of every pilot to go into somewhere in open, and shout "YARRRRRRRR!" in local comms, regardless of their preferred mode. Once the pirate cry has been made, every pilot can choose to go back to any mode they like.
But this celebration is mainly for our PvP piratey chums, who we love to hate, or hate to love ( delete as applicable).
Points will be given to supporters of this great day, for posting screenshots of their calling out in comms, and even extra points if a reply is received - the more spontaneous the better!
There is no obligation for PvP, or even leaving a landing pad - it is simply a social thing, and a ridiculous idea. Don't forget to blank out commander names in screenshots, as we have to be sensible (obviously).
Other than this, enjoy the festival, and up YARRRRRRRRRs ye scurvy dogs!
