COMPLETED CG Fight for the Marlinists with the Duduseklis Empire League

Well, probably it gives four different potential results.
1) Total Marlinist victory: Marlinists reach Tier 5, all ships escape
2) Partial Marlinist victory: Marlinists reach Tier 2-4 and stay ahead of Empire. Some ships escape, Empire may have difficulty containing the rest.
3) Partial Empire victory: Empire reaches Tier 5 or finishes the CG ahead, but Marlinists reach Tier 2. Some ships escape, but the Empire will easily contain the rest.
4) Total Empire victory: Empire reaches Tier 5 before Marlinists reach Tier 2. The ships are completely contained

If Empire looses this CG too, we should start seeing some serious consequences. Empire can be seen as weak, not being able to protect their own nobility against attacks, and struggling to bring even one small faction to it's knees when needed.
Realistically, this should seriously fracture the Empire, possibly leading to global civil war.
This weekend the Imperials are going to be like, “Blast your fully engineered lightweight and high capacity Class 2 Seeker Missile Rack with Thermal Cascade! Who knew it would be so effective?”
They will find some new excuse, they just can't fathom that nobody likes the empire, I mean the Roman Empire was nice and all but it also had a very dark side, it was built on slavery and crushed anyone that stood in its way, its taste for cruelty led to the extinction of north Africa lions and Hippos killed by the hundreds of thousands in bloody arena games where humans were eaten alive for entertainment.
... also the roman empire banned debt bondage of all citizens 326 B.C.(!), differently to EDs empire, who are so proud of their "Imperial Slavery". and until 27 B.C. it was a republic, something EDs Empire is so viciously fighting against.
Since the Duduseklis Empire League are an Imperial faction, can I earn imperial rank fighting for the rebel scum, from massacre missions. That would be awesome.

Both factions are imperial
Marlin Duval ,the leader of the expedition which discovered and colonized Achenar, set up a republic. Upon her accidental death due to a speeder crash, her brother Henson Duval took over and turned the Republic into an empire (becoming it's first emperor).
The Marlinists want the Empire to revert back into a Republic as originally intended but through peaceful means (unlike the NMLA).
Thought this bit of imperial history would be useful to put these CGs in proper context.

They should all take for deep space and create their own superpower, the "Marlanian Republic" and start from the ground up...
It has always been eaiser to start anew somewhere else then try to change the mind of the pre-established, such like the Puritans in the new world, especially if they are looking though peaceful means
Both easier and harder to go off on their own. ALD & Patreus are pretty hardline and didn't refrain from killing their last major enemy on the senate floor.
The empire could really split specially if Aisling turns or even takes a neutral stance (re: Marlinists, she hates the NMLA by now).
