Elite: Dangerous Battlecards Update

I'd like some capital ships as battlecards. What about cards to own star systems, resources, the ED corporations? Instead of having lands, mountains, swamps, forests, and plains like in Magic The Gathering, players can control star systems for resources.

Spidermind announced today on the Hutton Orbital Truckers twitch stream that everything has been approved by Frontier and sent to the printers. The earliest time that printing is expected to be finished, if everything goes well, is the first week of February.

Spidermind were on LaveRadio Last night. There has been print quality problems. The Blacks don't look black enough, so they are re-imaging some (don't know how many) cards.
Another test set will be produced & if theses are all OK they will move to mass production. No ETA given, however, later in the show they did hint that the Laveradio crew might be able to pick up their boxed cards at the ECM event (Easter Weekend April 11th) and they need new printed cards for ECM members to play with, so it could be maybe another 6 weeks ?

We have another update finally. Their chosen print company in Poland has just reopened from lockdown due to COVID and is resuming production. They've sent over pictures of some of the finished products. Still no final dates yet, unfortunately, but progress is happening again. The pictures are posted to the Elite: Dangerous Battle Cards Facebook page if you want to take a look.

Also of note, they are offering it as an add-on in the Backerkit for their Level-Up Kickstarter.

Spidermind games sent out an email early this morning (or afternoon depending on your time zone) stating that ED:Battlecards is ready to ship. They've asked everyone to verify that their address is still correct. They should know in a week or two when fulfillment will begin.

They'll make a card game out of anything these days... Well since Wizards of the coast is comitting financial suicide the market is wide open.
GL!

That was over 2 months ago - has anyone heard/recieved anything since? The fullfillment start was never communicated, so I assume they ran into some issues :(

I've seen several people that have reported receiving theirs, but there haven't been any official announcements. I have not received mine yet.

I have received mine quite a while ago. Would recommend sending them a mail and ask.

Guess there was a small window where the situation was better, but now the lockdown is pretty much in place again...

Got my copy yesterday, and ran through the quick start, and a couple of turns of the starter decks, before one of us was called away for a non spaceship mmo. I am pouring over the cards, as the devil is very much in the detail with this game.

Looking good, oh and the Coriolis Assault looks very scary from the other side.

Mine Arrived today. No Apology. Nothing Positive to say about Spidermind anymore, not buying\backing anything else.
