Damn...I like those game balances, but maybe they should wait for the end of the CG next time...Disconnected yesterday before patch, was something around level 3 reached in both CG.

Then they released the patch. Level 3 to 5 was done super quick before I could do anything. Spend hours (before patch) to grab 7 Mils for the CG, and this is now done in 1 hours by many player who drop me from top 10-25% to top 50 in one evening haha.
 
A victory for Decals, gonna have to check what the other rewards are now exactly.

Edit: Only Global Rewards for the Trade CG it seems, nice and simple.

Huh, there's slight disproportion.
With 2,2 million, in-game says I ended up in 50%, while Inara says:
Top 50%~ 3,308,759 to 12,140,34820,000,000 C

How are upper tiers?
Any unpleasant surprises for Cmdrs who were on margin?
 
This CG was a bit of everything...
  • 770m payout from LHS 54 missions
  • 66m payout for bounties handed in to CG
  • 50m CG Reward
  • Maxed out my Grade 3 and 4 mats...twice.
  • Hours staring and hyperspace tunnel while ED does it's network "thing". Every. Single. Time. (Peak times)
  • 36 Purple Pythons
  • 3 Orange Sidewinders
  • 100% in Open
  • Constantly 15-20 Cmdrs in an instance at peak times
  • Interdicted 8 times by other Cmdrs
  • Ganked by a tough NPC Conda while fighting a PvP Cmdr!
  • Lost 0 ships
  • All done in a small Vulture. FUN.

Thankfully I never had a nasty surprise but there must be an information imbalance as I just got in from work and - in reference to your and The Golden Knight's post above-

CG feedback
Through this CG I took a pirate massacre mission in the wrong system (noob) and when I dropped into the mission target (level 4), All the npc's would jump on me.
They weren't very powerful but it did make for a good experience. All deadly or dangerous Eagles, Asp's, DBx etc.

A day later in Parutis I was taking 15mil massacre missions and getting level 3 mission targets and the pirates only reacted when you shot at him/her so you could pick them off one at a time and they were easy easy targets, a bit boring really. Mix of eagles, T9's, an FDL (novice), cobra's etc.

Then the positive Nerf :) Now I'm taking 44mil massacre missions (One! it's all I had time for) ) and now it's level 4 mission targets, to find that the NPC's were a bit beefier and harder targets.
I could take out an FDL or Python and a chieftain or Anaconda but they took a while with fully engineered/ experimental beams and mutli's on an 'A' grade Python.
Fully realise that there are more effective weapons but they require more attention / finesse than I want after work.
The rest would jump away before I got round to them, this was taking the highest paying bounty ships around me.

I never increased my after work playing really and remained in the top 10% even though some lads / lassies were raking it in from the Complimentary Nerf.

Thanks to the Developers. This was a good experience for me personally, at least you've 'perceptibly' started trying again. Please remain to do so.
If you do read these forums you will know about the other 'niggles' maybe you could throw a few minor fixes in whilst your focused :)

Not sure there is a balance here as such, they jump at 10% hull so ideally target FSD first maybe but they usually require the 'more attention' weapons to target effectively. Can sometimes do it with MC if got a good angle on the FSD....dunno if missiles maybe?

I just go straight for the Power Plant...can’t run anywhere if their engine pops 💥

4 Efficient Burst Lasers and a Huge Corrosive MC serve me pretty well in that department.

Conda & Cutter PPs are super exposed. Once that shield comes down they can have as much Hull Integrity as they like that PP is going boom.
