I thought of something interesting.
You announced that in person Multicrew would be a thing in Odyssey. But we also know that ship interiors aren't included in Odyssey.

So in what way is the new multicrew different to the current, as you won't be able to move from your assigned position?

Could there ever be more rewards for those who compete in CQC?
The permit for the special system CD-43 11917 is fantastic as it is for those who reach prestige, but what about for those who achieve the unthinkable, and become Elite in CQC? Surly glory isn't all they should get. How about the right to purchase a brand new, exclusive to Attilius Orbital (excluding Shinrarta as well) and nowhere else, ship? Maybe even throw in an exclusive paintjob and decal while we're at it? I can guarantee if a new unique, desirable ship were the CQC reward for reaching Elite, people would play it more.

Given Michael Brookes' statement in a Dev Update of May'15:
We also have the concept of a shadow ban. A shadow ban will allow an player to continue playing Elite: Dangerous but will put them on a separate server that won’t affect any of our honest players; or the galaxy simulation. A player can be shadow banned for a day, a week or permanently depending on severity of the action and if the player repeatedly performs prohibited actions.
How are players who play in Solo and Private Groups expected to interpret proposals that include reduction / removal of their ability to affect the galaxy are linked to as part of the Game Balancing series of threads?

In the Codex, it says that the Guardian sites were found as a result of Halsey's visions.

However in reality, they were found via images in a trailer. At the time, it was said that there had been something planned for how they were going to be found but that got cut off due to them being found via the trailer. Does the Codex version represent what should have happened rather than what did?

Can you increase payouts for solo mining missions as some commodities can be sold for more credits than what missions offer?

For example a mining mission from a faction that I have high reputation with would pay around 2 million credits for 24 units of Osmium but the average sell price for osmium is roughly 200,000 credits to 250,000 credits per unit. So I would make around 2 million credits just selling around 8 to 10 units of Osmium at best sell station.
Thank you for this feedback - balancing is still ongoing and we will take a look at this. -Arf

Q: Are you going to fix the Python Wireframe paintjob?
It now shows side view vireframe on top of the ship.

I was wondering if you could give an insight into how much of an game engine overhaul will Odessey bring. It seems to be that some of the issues of the game are just technical debt and I can fully appreciate the burden of a 6 year technical debt. Is there anything on the roadmap to reduce this technical debt? For eg. reworking networking to create an easier and grander way for multiplayer so that it truly feels like an MMO.

Question:
When Horizons was announced FDev said that landing on Earth like worlds was 'a long way off'' & understandably so. With Odyssey arriving early next year with tenuous atmospheric worlds is that long way off now a little bit closer?

Thanks

This is BEFORE my time but I would suggest that CODEX is the correct narrative - Arf

Maybe wrong place for this, but: Have you ever thought of making a "suggestions" version of the issue tracker? Where people with Frontier accounts could post and vote for suggestions on what they'd like to see.

Of course, with no implication that anything would actually get implemented, but just for both you and the community to see what exactly people are expecting?

Maybe instead of the comment system of the issue tracker then force people who post suggestions to link a thread on the suggestions forum to it, so people can discuss it there?

Thanks for the idea. There are a lot of things to consider when it comes to suggestions and whilst something might be popular it may not necessarily be best for the game or could impact future plans. Our developers do check out the Suggestions forums though so always share any ideas you have there so they can see them.

Q: How about fixing the HUD hologram of Water Giants?
It now shows the butt-crack of Class III gas giant's HUD holo.

We have no plans for this right now - if this changes we will let you know. -Arf

Have you (I mean the team in general) considered to answer such suggestion in the "Suggestions" subforum so player won't repeat them over and over again? With some reasoning behind "we won't/can't do it"...
