Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

You know those moments where as a man, you realise belatedly you've just innocently consigned yourself to a lifetime of purgatory?...

My wife drove her Land Rover Disco into the workshop this morning, complaining that it was making a knocking noise from underneath and asked if I could have a quick look at it. I dutifully dropped what I was doing and dragged the trolley jack over to have a look. As I rolled the jack under the Disco and started to lift it up...

"Do you want me to get out?" She asked.... Me, innocently. "Nope, you're fine. It's a 4 ton jack."

No amount of back / foot rubs, scented candles, fine wines / cooking will make that go away. If I were you I'd call for evacuation now :D

Heading roughly back on topic :D

The latest patch seems to have sorted the worst of the frame rate problems out...it's never likely to be anywhere good, regardless of what NASA level of PC you're running SC on...but it's better than it was with the launch of 3.12, a lot better.
As for trade, I had to fly down to one of the trading centres on a planet...in my case, the TDD at New Babbage as I had parked up at Tressler orbital at Microtec the other night in an attempt to sell my goods at the cargo deck there. Unfortunately, Ci¬G haven't managed to get the much vaunted cargo decks on the orbital stations working in the slightest and nowhere else with a trade terminal will now accept any trade goods or metals...whether bought or mined and refined elsewhere.

It now seems Crobber and Co have forced us into using the silly trains again whether we want to or not. I cheated by suiciding as soon as I landed since waking up in the hab is a lot closer to a TDD than the spaceport and means only 1 train trip instead of 2.

A Disco Landrover?

You're fated to support CIG you know!

Hi. As the quintessentially ignorant Yank in this thread, aren't you Yorkshire folk considered Scotties by the Brits (as in Chef Ramsay Scottish)? And if so, do you eat Haggis and is it true it taste like chicken?:geek:

Haggis tastes more like spicy chicken stuffing than anything else you might come across in Americaland. Yorkshire* is most definitely not in Scotland, well, at the moment anyway :D

Lovely place through - well worth a visit when the 2020 mess clears up. Definitely try a pint of Copper Dragon* ;)

** Dragons are a near mythical beast, similar to Haggis, but there is more concrete evidence of their existence than there is of the Roadmap to the Roadmap for Star Citizen.
