Fleet Carrier stranded up at Rockham's Peak after "incident" with security forces. Looking for Help.

It was well flagged up during testing that this was a poor game mechanic.
Truth be told they had already signed of on it and they only thing they adjusted was on the credits side.
When these devs hit beta they don't change and it's been like this for many years.
Having a stranding your carrier mechanic built into the game is totally incompetent and not emerging gameplay.
Half baked nonsense and delivered unbelievably delayed and still an Achilles heel as stupid as this one.

Well I tried to get back, FC ran out of fuel at HD 104392 and I could only get the Asp Explorer I engineered to PLAA TRUNA GN-K D8-1. Sooo bumbed. 2800 ly to go. gotta get some sleep...

That system doesn't seem to exist, I will fly up to your FC and drop you 1,000 tons of Tritium, all I can spare at the moment, but I can't meet you because that system seems to be non-existant.

I think it was a deliberate design decision to a) prevent FC's becoming to powerful and b) to drive situations like this.

Ok you have added an extra N into your system name somehow, I know where you are.

I will park there overnight and open my carrier for access, just post here when you are on board.

Man you're unlucky!!

I was only up there last week. I got there & back following the route that Varonica has posted.

Sadly, for what was up there, I won't be returning in a while(n)

If there is some cmdr's Carrier still there up there & there were I few when I was there, then they could possibly fill your Carrier to 100%, allowing you to make most, if not all the route back to a higher density of Stars.

BTW: keep us updated, though I'm out in the black but returning to the bubble via Exploring, if you haven't sorted yourself out, I'll gladly pick you up & take you part way, if you remote jump your Carrier part way back.......it just may be a few days though.

Added: Yeah, if I'd read all the posts before posting mine, I'd have seen varonica was helping you out....nice work cmdr(y)

OMG im so sorry. I went to bed. I'm in central U.S. i see you in the system now. this message board updates goofy.

I took my FC up to Rockham's Peak almost two weeks ago to deliver liquor. Took me two days to get there because finding the liked stars to get up there was a total pain. And when i arrived it was quite the nice view but... The station has no Large landing pads, which make it a huge pain to offload the 10k tons of liquor i brought up. And you drop out of super cruise way out from the station so you have a long haul just to dock, if its open, in a medium ship... Anyhoo i got bored doing that so i just wanted to check out the station. Scanned the satellite attached to the station which opens up more things to scan. Discovered some cargo hatches. Hatch broke said cargo hatches to see what was inside and got smoked by the security forces in like 1mn flat. Was labeled an undesirable and booted to a correctional facility back in the bubble 4.5k ly away... Now i have no way to get back. Looking for Any cmdr Heading up that way plz.
Sorry for your predicament but this is a strong case for "Remote Fueling" on fleet carriers if ever I saw one.

Good luck in getting your FC back, sorry I can't help.

Rockham's Peak is the new Hutton, surprised people aren't talking about the free Fleet Carrier up there.

I wish they would have thought of maybe putting a detention center a jump by carrier away so that it would at least be possible to recover from what i did.

This would solve one problem but create another. At present, non-Carrier-owners can hitch a ride on a Carrier and know that they won't get stranded up there, because they can commit a crime and get sent back to the Bubble.

varanica im having trouble contacting you, gary is here and i just want to say thank you and i owe you. its like two threads are going on and we cant see your posts. im new at forums so im prolly doing something wrong.
