Summary
System: Polevnic
Station: Tanner Settlement (Coriolis starport, large pads available, 49 Ls from main star, 123.13 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Anomalous Bulk Scan Data, Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes, Exceptional Scrambled Emission Data and Unusual Encrypted Files
Time limit: 28th January 3307 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Rival initiatives to arrange a diplomatic conference have been launched by Sirius Corporation and the Utopia commune.
The Alliance Assembly, Federal Congress and Imperial Senate have each provisionally agreed to send delegates to the first tri-superpower Galactic Summit. This political gathering will also be attended by representatives from independent systems.
All parties have specified that their participation depends upon the event being successfully organised in neutral territory, and with sufficient resources and security in place.
Sirius Corporation and Utopia have begun to gather supplies to host the conference. Both have requested assistance from the galactic community to provide data for their security services.
Simguru Pranav Antal has called upon all pilots who support Utopia’s proposal to deliver Anomalous Bulk Scan Data, Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes, Exceptional Scrambled Emission Data and Unusual Encrypted Files to Tanner Settlement in the Polevnic system.
The initiative begins on the 21st of January 3307 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
Should both initiatives be completed to the same tier, the one with the highest contribution will be designated the victor.
To earn rewards, you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Anomalous Bulk Scan Data, Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes, Exceptional Scrambled Emission Data and Unusual Encrypted Files to Tanner Settlement in the Polevnic system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Items can be contributed via the Science & Research contact in Starport Services
  • Tanner Settlement is orbiting planet A 1
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Material Trader (Encoded)

Hmm, all G1 data. So probably farming Jameson and trading down is most efficient. But no special rewards and 300M+ mats to complete ... will be interesting to see what people make of these CGs :)

In the past the rewards for contributing to these types of CG have been pretty good, though not by current standards perhaps - guess we'll get an indication at tier 1

yeah, maybe that's it. Struggling to work out why people would bother right now :)

My guess is it is setting the scene for the Superpower summit location - which may determine the types of CGs we get associated with that? Purely speculation though :)
Yeah, this does seem a very RP decision this week

Support Sirius - a mostly disliked corporation, or support Antal - a mostly disliked technocrat (I think?). Decisions decisions :D

They are not getting my mats. It’s only G1 but still nope :). Perhaps if a tasty magically engineered module was at stake.
Oh yeah, I'm not giving up lots of data without something good for it. One can only hope that FD adds a cool reward, but I doubt it.

Anyone confirm the type of Mat Trader in the station? Inara says it is Raw (so useless for the CG). The other CG has an Encoded Trader...

I would like to know if our decisions have any influence on further storyline? For example if theoretically, not enough commanders will take part in this CGs, not enough
data for Tier1 - will summit be cancelled? Will there be big war between superpowers? Alternative storylines?
Or- we have no influence? Guinea pigs for testing - how we will react if there is carrot (double engineered something) or not?

Fdev said there will be no spoilers for any thing they had mapped out... (unlike the II which were spoilered...)
Do it or don't, its your choice not to have a say...
