Brilliant Move Fdev.

Great way to involve Commanders in lore and adding game content. I am now interested in ongoing game lore and wanting to see how this story evolves.

It feels like I am now inside of a living Galaxy where Galnet has more meaning.

Keep this content and stories coming this is exciting to see new interactive content.

What do you all think ?

Should have been there from the start....
Are you intimating that he (OP) should have been there from the start?
Or...
Just the usual bleat about Frontier not doing what you consider they should have?
Or...
Possibly both?

Having Galnet content planned for another year or so appears to be a pretty good move to me, particularly as it will no longer include 'Fluff' content ;)

I'm not huge on herded community narratives in general, just occasionally. A splash of color on the Gnat is generally welcome though.

It can make for a decent ring in the background noise to keep things feeling a little more lively.

To be fair, I liked the fluff articles, they made the galaxy alive. Especially the local news (that were only visible in a few systems, and partly submitted by players), but unfortunately the quality of those articles are a lot of work to check (and translate!) for something that very few will read.

I happily set off on a couple of jaunts from 'fluff' articles a couple of years ago, never found the 'collapsing hrung' or whatever, but did end up in parts of the galaxy I'd not previously spent any time in, so was fun. (even if a little disappointing that it was pure fluff!)

Mine was more of a positive that whatever we read nowadays will have a place in the game, even if, on first appearance, the result may not be apparent to deduce!

Been there yesterday with my unarmed Phantom, scanned the four Logs took pictures,a couple of other CMDRs were in,usual "o7s" "hi there" etc..etc.. back to my ship an Anaconda comes in,SRV gets out I send a salute and his answer is a volley from the SRV ,no harm but...his diamond becomes red I am in the right to deal justice! Take off and land "hardly" on top of his SRV,squashed... firework... died (him),did I gank him? Forgot to add, I scanned his Conda he had no weapons but all Utility slots were filled with Point defense Turrets :ROFLMAO:

Not only happy to see these 'event'

Even more happy with the quality. Good story and nice to get a inside look into the imperials covert operations. I hope we get more.

Salt for breakfast, delish 🍿
What's delish is DANISH :D

I do approve the effort. My comment about it being over before getting off work is just an observation of how these go in every MMO. Nothing the developers can do about it. Keep making more stuff for us.
