Odyssey is only letting us land on worlds with tenuous atmospheres so any habitable world is unlandable.
Even if we could land on such worlds I doubt that it would be allowed just as we aren’t allowed to land on Earths airless moon.

Op, I doubt we'll necessarily get Earth landing even if fdev manage to introduce landable Earth like worlds. Unless they're also able to utilise some form of mapping technology similar to FS2020, that also looks great on foot... They're not going to handcraft it and it'll need to be authentic. And actually have a sensible amount of content to actually do (not sure Braben's game hunting will cut it alone).
Not saying it's impossible. I'd actually say we're much closer to it being viable now than when Elite launched, particularly with the FS2020 tech existing. Just... The scope of that project would likely exceed that of the entire game once Odyssey is out...
