The corvette is a huge ship so not surprised you can’t see what’s below you. Having a higher cockpit ceiling wouldn’t changes this.not being able to see or guess where anything is below me is a pain.

If you don't do open pvp. You will walk like a god of war thru npc's. I finally broke down and built one, it mostly collects dust. I only use it for hi intensity cz's.
Spec ops don't have a prayer. Mine is a pretty weak build compared to what most will load it out.
Not sure why you're equating wanting to see more ABOVE me to below. I just wish the ceiling wasn't so damn low.The corvette is a huge ship so not surprised you can’t see what’s below you. Having a higher cockpit ceiling wouldn’t changes this.
That circle is part of the HUD and projected onto the glass of the cockpit, which is why it vanishes if your canopy is destroyed, so of course your nose doesn’t hide it from view.Non-VR myself, so no idea. What I mean is if you target signal or destination, for example, you can still see that circle right through your nose. If this explanation is still confusing, I might make some screenies to show. Conda has same issues btw.
I realize that. But it just looks pretty weird and ugly for me.That circle is part of the HUD and projected onto the glass of the cockpit, which is why it vanishes if your canopy is destroyed, so of course your nose doesn’t hide it from view.
Nice build, some very nasty weapons there. Might have to rethink mine a bit.The belly gun is a poor place to put a wep. So l put my debuff turreted high ammo corrosive mc there. This way l don't fret about it...tot is enough to regen the debuff.
Coriolis EDCD Edition
A ship builder, outfitting and comparison tool for Elite Dangerouss.orbis.zone
Designed specifically for farming mats and staying power namely not running out of ammo. She easily clears high czs as well as solo with threat 6 pirates plus the wingmen they count towards the massacres.
Fast agile and powerful. Can ram beautifully.
Best ship for pve bar none
I love my Corvette. It's my go-to ship for PvE CZ/HazRES cleaning. I can loiter all day.
Things I don't like :
1: AGREE that the belly mount is absolute trash. If you don't keep the target balanced on the tip of the nose you'll never get to use it.
2: It's a big fat "meh" until you engineer it. I'd expect more out of a combat specific ship costs north of 800 million fully outfitted and is rank locked.
3: Jump range is atrocious until you visit Farseer AND add a guardian booster. A combat build without those modifications and you might not even be able to get out of the system you purchased it in. Not saying it should have the Anacondas 'magic' hull, but it should be better.
Long-nosed ships like the 'conda and 'vette make great cues for playing mailslot snooker with sideys![]()
The large is perfect for a big fixed weapon like rails or PA. I ripped out the gimbaled laser and put a rail in mine and I suck at fixed weapons but it's awesome having the option to blast chunks off a big ship at close range.I wish the Large HP was on that giant waste of flat space outside of the canopy, the Huges would take a lot of space up but the large would fit just fine there and give us better fire angles.
An NPC is "potted" when it gets itself wedged long enough or bounces off the station hard enough to aggro it. The score only counts after the station blows it up. Acquiring a fine yourself ends your "break" and you must dock and pay it off. If you acquire a bounty or aggro the station yourself that's a foul and you must leave the system for the nearest IF and cannot "return to the table" until you're locally "clean" againAre there any rules to mailslot snooker?![]()
