I noticed the same. But I managed to fix it by clicking on Settings in the top right and then go to General Settings. If you scroll down to almost the bottom you should find Forum Skin that you can select as default skin. I just choose "Official Elite Theme" and then clicked on Save Changes button near bottom. Now all sub forums have the same theme.

I've posted the following in "First (your first forum feedback)". In "My Profile", this post is listed under the "Nice Forum !" If you click on "see more", it brings me to this thread and shows that I haven't posted anything.

"NEW DISCUSSIONS" separately brings up every response in each topic rather than bumping the topic to the top of the list. Is there a way to enable the old style of bumping the thread rather than listing each response?

Under "My Profile" there is a list of all of the postings I've made. There used to be an indicator if there were any new responses in the topic so you could see new activity without having to subscribe. Is there a way to do that in the new forums?

I'm using the Official Elite Theme

Hit "New Discussions" at the top, then under that is the "New Posts" link.I've managed to change to the Elite skin, but I'm not seeing a WYSIWYG editor even though I've got it selected in my options...

1. Elite theme is hard to read, especially on threads list (so I am using Minimal Blackout right now). It's more stylish for sure, but it's much worse to use than before.
2. Forum is too wide on wide screens, it would be nice to have some option to get it more narrow (sure, I can still resize browser window, but it's annoying)
3. Switching themes on the page bottom doesn't work
4. Clicking "full site version" on the page bottom using mobile theme doesn't work

Otherwise, good job. :)

The Message Editor Interface setting in the General Settings doesn't do much anymore. Aside from the "Basic Editor - A simple text box" option which indeed does just that, the others only display the smileys on the right and no other control. Tested on IE9 and up-to-date Firefox. Good thing I'm good at BBCode :D

Page width

I feel the page width for reading posts needs to max out at about 1100, at 1920 it just feels weird. It's much nicer to read the site on the secondary monitor at 1280x1024 than on the main one at 1920x1080.

Thread was moved, merged and renamed, that's why. Well at least moving, merging and renaming does work.

Per-user posts searches don't work.

1) Go to a user profile, i.e.: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/member.php?u=28846
2) Click on "Find latest posts" on the left hand side, the immediate URL is: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/searc...id=28846&contenttype=vBForum_Post&showposts=1
3) End up on a page like: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/search.php?searchid=83 with "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms"

I realise that the profile page itself does list some posts, but I'd still expect this offered search to work.

Part of my reason for wanting this to work is that a couple of weeks ago I set up a scraper to find all recent "developer" posts, store the details about them, and then spit out an RSS feed. That had been working well on the old forum, but now is completely broken. I note that viewing a user profile now requires being logged in, so I was hoping that the specific search wouldn't, and thus I wouldn't be required to make my collector script login first.

Either way I'll get something working again and announce when it is !

Ah, I note that no searching works at all currently, at least whatever I put into the top-right search box results in the same "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms" error.

Search indexing not finished running yet or somesuch ?

Same issue if you hover over the username and select "view forum posts". Although "view forum threads" does seem to work.

I love the new forums, gotta check what themes are available, but I like this default one too. :)
Titus, it seems both image and text works for me. Even link on my signature pic.

Switched to Elite Theme and it's now ignoring all line breaks. For example, all up to here is on one line.This is typed on the next line.This is typed with one line separating it from the one above.This has two lines between it and the one above.
