Can anyone confirm whether the CG railgun actually has the feedback cascade experimental?
It does not have cascade, cascade lowers the damage total per shot by 20 percent per shot... So would lower 41.5 damage per shot to lower value of 33.2 per shot... its still 41.5 per shot..

what would be a good experimental for this?
As its got double ammo upgrade you don't realy need plasma slugs for this one... unless you miss a lot... lack of ammo has been a draw back for rails in BH/CZ...
Super pen will do extra module damage if you like sniping...
Feed back cascade is what people use if they face lots of high rank SCB users... thats why fdev were meant to be offering it...
If you are putting it on smaller ship then flow controll will reduce the power drain... If you have the power spare then one of the other 2 is all about play style..

Nah, plasma slug all the way :ROFLMAO:

(Ok this is a joke, use feedback or superpen)

I just went to see if the reward rail gun has arrived and i was unable to mount it due to "legal reasons". I had to pay 20K to clear the weapon. What was that about?

For the top 10% or approx 250 players yes, or didnt you read the CG description? Mind you if theyd spent less time trash talking in chat and calling each other cloggers and challenging everyone to a duel all the time they might have made Tier 1 anyway. 90% gave up as couldn't win anything anyway regardless of what they did.

Glad to finally see a CG fail properly, wonder if anything actually happens as a result, apart from targets being adjusted for next CG.

And let me be the first to say before the crowds start - WHER ARE mY RAils waaah!!! :)
CG Fail? They gave us the module anyway. Lol, what a joke. It's not modded properly either but it's there.

Feedback Cascade
Rail slug energy charging mechanism, designed to interfere with shield cell operation. Strikes to a target deploying a shield cell will damage the shield cell bank and reduce shield restoration, at the cost of reduced damage from smaller rounds.

Crafting cost
5 Open Symmetric Keys
5 Shield Emitters
5 Filament Composites

Modifiers
Target shield cell disrupted
Damage -20% (boo)
Thermal Load -40%

VS

Super Penetrator
Experimental munitions that are capable of penetrating and damaging all modules along its trajectory, at the cost of increased reload times.

Crafting cost
3 Proto Light Alloys
3 Refined Focus Crystals
3 Zirconium
5 Untypical Shield Scans

Modifiers
Target module damage
Thermal Load-40%
Reload Time +50% (ouch)

Will be nipping over to Tod.. some time...

The feedback cascade cannot be confirmed or denied by stats. The CG article doesn't said it is experimental mod just that it will have feedback cascade. The only way is to head to combat and see if you get cascading notification when hitting a banking target. (Cascading notification looks like ( - ) under targets holo)

Something I plan to do later today.

It does when you go to engineers and try to put another on...
And ALL the other states are all ready confirmed on all the OTHERs by stats the second engineer effect is never listed...

It does what? Removing 20% damage? Of course it will do, you are applying experimental mod. However, as I said earlier the CG article do not talk about experimental mod but for effect only. This is why I said it must be checked. I will not be surprised if you can add super penetrator experimental mod and it still cancel banks.

... But before I actually test cascading it is just speculation.

P. S. I do not remember we received a module with experimental modifications, only main engineering mods.

If it had experimental on it. It would warn you that applying another Experimental that you would be losing the exiisting one at the engineer, it does not... It also would not allow you to apply the same experimental for all those that allready fixed the experimental being missing...
You are not allowed in game to apply the same experimental effects on one that allready has that experimental it does not...
Go waste your time others have allready used the rail allready..

It is not added in game. And for the third time, it was not stated that it is experimental modification.

I guess I will stop arguing with you and just verify if the given rail have canceling effect or not.

I took the initiative and tested it out myself. I can confirm that the community goal Railgun DOES NOT have Feedback Cascade. I tested it out in a Haz Rez on an anaconda popping SCBs and it failed to stop the shield regen and did not show the (-) debuff icon.

Thank you!
This is the only true confirmation. All stat based things are non-sense if you have basic understanding of Blackbox testing.
