At least the Corvettes dont run Size 8 prismatic shields like the cutters do would take way longer then... There size 7 shields drop and then many corvettes try to run... dam captain objective corvette still has the engineer weapons boo...
 
With the weekend over and the feds still halfway to T1 seems that its going to be a T1-T0 score here. Well done, I suppose. :p I assume this will be a minor victory in terms of story, as long as the link with Adrian turns out to be false.
 
It's definitely been rigged in favor of the Federation in the last 24 hrs.

Spec Ops now immediately gang up on you (all of them) upon entering the CZ, but they won't even look at you if you choose to fight for the Feds (I tested it).

Also, they will hunt you down no matter how far away from the CZ you go. This didn't happen to me yesterday in over 7 hours, not once.

I'm done with this CG. This is ridiculous.

What's that got to do with the cg?

I'm 99.9% sure that fdev didn't employ some routine in their code that ties npc AI with the outcome of a CG. As if the npcs suddenly think "hmm, let's annoy AceMcKool and deliberately make this CG harder for him because we want the federation to win this cg!"

It's not rigged. It's just Elite being Elite.
 
Doing CZs again just reminds me how much room for improvement there is here. They don't last long enough at all. There's zero mission benefit to doing medium or high intensity (despite lasting longer). They're combat at its worst in the game due to high end sponge. Low intensity isn't bad but just so short. High intensity lasts longer but takes longer per kill too. Medium has spec ops which I'd love if they counted for way more bonds than they do.

I'm top 10% and it's just so repetitive. I added a third commander alt into my one man wing now just to make it more interesting (and triple my cg contribution to help push it along). It's a lot more fun and at least the sponge is less but my word is it a hoop and jump challenge to get all three commanders to load into the same instance without it bugging out or one crashing... They should make private groups 100% instance sharing if fewer than 5 are loaded in.

And the progress is so slow! Not even t1 after so much time has passed and billions of bonds handed in.

Any predictions for what the pay tiers will look like before it ticks over to tier 1? I'm leaning towards super low, maybe 9mill for top 10. 400k for top 75%
 
yea i'm thinking very low, i'm sure these CZ ones usually are
but you never know lately, imagine if it was huge, there would be a massive scramble for the feds
would make it very interesing

10 million for the 10% per tier was the norm for CGs per tier but were getting paid over double per kill x10 not the X4 limit so 5mill per tier for 10%ers..
 
Done another run to get back into the 10% tier...
No massacre mission as play time will not be long enough as had less than an hour and don't expect to get on again till Tuesday night...
Corvettes back in force and zero spec ops.
Lovely free kill of a T9 to end the play session...

I disagree.
Even with my Epic alt moderately engineered Krait mk2 (g3 drives / g3 shields and g4 weapons) i did only High CZ (Low CZ indeed are ending too soon, after 6 kills - but i guess that's tailored for non-engineered ships and/or less combat oriented players). And Low CZ does not have any missions, cap ship included.

High CZ provide more kills per CZ so less time faffing around. A build that is able to chain the CZ without much need for R&R will get a better ratio of bonds/hour doing High CZ than the other types of CZ.
And mediums i just dont do. Getting SpecOps in every single instance gets boring after a while, especially when only the enemies gets them

They might as well not bother with rewards if they're going to be that low.

This is my first CG (of any type) and so I didn't realise how out of whack the previous CG was in terms of rewards. I'm sitting reasonably comfortably in the 10% with 40 million bonds handed in for NI, but in the time that took me (particularly as I did most of it in the first couple of days) I could easily have earned 300m or more doing pirate massacres.

If they're going to give me a measly couple of million credits for hours of grinding away at Fed hull tanks, after dishing out billions to people for a few hours of semi-AFK mats farming and some trips to a materials trader, then this'll certainly be my last.

Well, we're currently at 59,724,828,984, so we'll know soon enough! :D
 
Even if the rewards are the same - I doubt this will even hit Tier 2. And the feds will struggle to get T1. Not sure why people think any tier rewards will change this now.
