The more I use the new forum, and the more I like it
Hmm, on Firefox I cannot reply directly, only reply with quote works for me...
(WYSIWYG-Editor, no difference between this and Standard or even basic editor): I only get a black box.
Edit signature: White box with black font
Current Grey background with bright grey font
Signature does not work with image tags from photobucket (so I assume same for photos:
But this seemed to work now ( but I don't know if any tags are used .... WYSIWYG )

Using the "Official Frontier Theme", embedded hyperlinks are not underlined and you only notice them on mouseover.
Same with ---- Elite Theme [Constrained]

My problem is weird. Ive had this on another VB forum but that was years ago, can't remember how it was fixed.

I click the box and nothing happens.
Happens with both Chrome and Firefox.
All the backgrounds for the different themes seem to have vanished.
Anyone else having this?
If not, must be something local to my machine. Thought I would check across the forums before I start messing with my machine though

Odd. Changed nothing here, even same browser session and the backgrounds have all returned. Oh well
The Reply Editor (in threads, advanced reply or private messages) does not work in any browser when viewing the forum via https:
I've seen this error before where the script is requested from http but becasue the page is https the cross domain policy blocks it. The solution is to re-write the includes to use the Protocol Relative URL. this should fix your bits
FYI, to workaround everyone, if you can't type into the editor, check your URL, if it begins with https://forums.frontier.co.uk just delete that s and try again, voilà! you can has editor!

Hi there Love the new look for the forums, great schemes you have set up.
I'm currently using the Elite Tempered (constrained) theme.
The main search box at the top of the page seems fine, but the one above the posts "Search Thread"
The text colour is same as the background colour, so you cant see what you've typed in unless you highlight it.
Just thought i'd let you know, sorry i'm lazy and haven't checked the other themes

Hi guys, I'm having an issue with Multi Quotes.
If you selected 2 quotes to Multi Quote in a thread and then reply with them, if you then subsequently try to reply to the same thread later on, even if you have moved and posted in other threads, it remembers the multi quotes and adds them into your reply.
In the Beta 3.00 thread I now have 4 quotes automatically appear everytime I hit reply. Could it be changed so that it clears the multi quote selection once you have submitted your reply?

I am using Chrome (Version 38.0.2125.111 m) with no issues.
Check to see if there are any updates available for you and perhaps toggle any extensions (I only use Ghostery)

Feels like staring into the sun, which unfortunately means I can only use the forum for a couple of minutes before the strain becomes too much
I understand white on white on more white with some darker text thrown in there is the latest vogue in LA, probably because everything is sunny bright all the time and the brightness melds into the overall background of everything else that is white. In northern Europe however where we've entered the pitch black season, for some the "excessive" theme brightness it's very jarring, straining and hard to stand for longer than a few minutes.
Please give us an option of choosing a light or dark theme. I was really happy with the previous darker theme and would be grateful if you would provide that as a choice to pick, for those of us whose eyes can't cope with glaring brightness stinging our eyes.
PS. I have a Eizo S2433 monitor, and with its brightness turned all the way down to minimum lumen, and also the graphics card's brightness down to close-to minimum brightness, the theme is still an incredible strain on the eyes when reading black text on pure white. Feels like staring into a lamp.
Of course each of us could individually start using Firefox, install the stylize plugin, spend an hour or so reversing your CSS and then another few hours to experiment with CSS rule properties to revert the colors to match the old theme's color palette, but it would be so much more convenient if you would offer this option straight from the forum. That way even "non-IT-nerds" would be able to avoid having to choose between retaining their eye sight and being able to follow the ED discussions and progress.

Select the Elite Theme, from the dropdown menu in the bottom left of the screen (or your setting menu)
For some reason on my Surface RT IE Win 8 there is a keyboard oddity - when I hit reply to thread the on screen keyboard appears and disappears making it impossible to type anything - the workaround is to hit the reply with quote and then delete the quoted text the on screen keyboard then stays up.
