FYI: I spent +6 hours looking for places where I could buy upgraded weapons (I did get some). Very tedious. I decided to go off and do Reactivate missions. Industrial sites and scavenged. I did 6 hours of that and got so much mats I was able to upgrade my G1 Executioner to G3, enough mats to upgrade my Mav suit to G4, upgrade my Tk Aph. to G4.

So, from a time perspective it seems better to do Reactivate missions because you get mats for other things (also for mods). Plus I then got invited to another Engineer because I did 10+ reactivate missions

After you posted what\where to look, I ended up finding a G3 Maverick - extra capacity, a G2 Oppressor, a G2 Dom and a G2 Aphelion. Once the tick happens, I'll go look some more. I found chasing down posted leads to be fruitless, but obviously it's working for a lot of folks.

You and I were in the same region of space yesterday :) I didn't find anything, but I have nearly enough mats to G4 my maverick and G4 my Aphelion. Nearly. It pains me to do it though because at some point FDev will be making this easier.

Btw... somebody knows a pattern, in what kind of system you get which weapons preferably? (I'm still looking for Karma weapons, L-6, P-15 and AR-50 or C-44, in G3. And they seem to hide well from me. )

Sure about that? i did a bit of station cruising on the weekend. When i logged off in a station which had no upgraded gear, there was something available the next day. So, seems to have reset between Saturday and Sunday.

Not sure at all :) people said more was around after last week's restart, but it could be that things pop up all the time. Would need more instances of things appearing midweek really...

At start I've been told, that the state should be Boom. For now I have no idea, because I found upgraded goods just in random systems. I'm still looking for Maverick g3 and haven't seen it in 50+ systems. Same for Artemis but I don't care about this one.

I rather follow the route of "go to the most remote places". (But i filter for size, so there's a sufficient number of settlements there. More chances to find something. ) Seems to work so far. Every suit in G3, sometimes even more than one copy. Same for the laser and plasma weapons. Just the kinetics avoid me. So i start to wonder if they are more rare than the rest, or if my pattern of picking systems if flawed.
