That mostly worked for people who manually changed it to improve graphics in Horizons (increased texture resolution and such).
Yeah true that... installing now (sneakily while 'working').

While there are some hints at lighting I'm somewhat sceptical whether the ship/FC skins have been sorted out. Emissive is one thing but pretty much all of them had problems. Surprised this isn't even acknowledged at this point.
 
Multicrew/Wings
  • Fixed an issue whereby if the host player created/joined a wing while in an SRV or Fighter, they would be have an extra multicrew power pip when they returned to the mothership.
  • Fixed an issue whereby if a guest player deployed into or boarded an SRV, they would get a power pip in the mothership.
  • Powerpips are now only granted to guest players in the mothership or fighters and are rescinded when players leave the ship by any means.

So we still don't have multiplayer missions for Odyssey? How you guys can call this an MMO is absolutely ludicrous. Oh, I can join a "Wing (Now a team) and do nothing other than the same rubbish I could for the last 5 years. No idea why Multicrew was even mentioned, because it's hot garbage that has never had a purpose. Glad to see that the bugs are constantly being worked on, but please don't neglect the content and put your feet up once you've got the game stable as you did with Horizons. For the love of god please, make the multiplayer content accessible and balance mission pricings. Why would I want to do 17,000 ground missions at 300k a pop, when I could just do 100 trade missions at 50m. When this was released, I could understand that there would be teething problems (I'm not new here), but now this is becoming a joke, and unless the dev team actually decides to implement proper MMO gameplay, fix missions pricing so that you aren't forced into one type of mission type, and fix Multicrew (Or just rid of it entirely as it's pathetic since it serves literally no purpose on Odyssey), they won't ever get another penny from me again.

Happy to see so many fixes going into effect... but unfortunately, the key issue I'm having has seen no progress from what I can tell. On a 980Ti (above recommended specs) I'm still getting less than 25 fps in stations on medium settings.

Great stuff, but please work on the frames! I love the update... when I'm running it on potato graphics.

drop the supersampling down from 1.00 to 0.85 if you havent tried that already ?

Also great: Staking "power on settlement" missions?

What will be the payout? 500k + 4 regulators??

  • Map UI - A new panel to display Organic Data has been added. This is available in the System Map and Planetary Map.

I'd just like to come back to this and make a suggestion please. Having just watched Fireytoad look at this on stream, I love the idea of the button being added. However the main reason I think people wanted it, and me certainly, is that if you are on a planet and you cannot remember the different types of Biological signals there were you have to jump back into Supercruise, and get far enough away from the planet to be able to activate the DSS and look again.

The new tab shows the Biological signals as unidentified until you actually scan the features with the Composition Scanner (or sampler). It would be great if they could list the different types, until you have scanned them then it can give the full name.

On a side note if you scan an object then go to the system map and look at the biological tab the game crashes. It works OK once you log back in.
