It will ring quite hollow if the devs and the CMs say 'yeh no topics off limits' and then show me the hand.
Yeah...the fact they'll talk about ship interiors, but give
zero info on an already existing feature...is...
sigh
They really do make this a lot harder than necessary. For how much money the game has generated, you'd think they'd take the time to organize the developers in such a way as to have a team dedicated to just sprucing up, updating,
or at least fixing and balancing older features. Doesn't even need to be a large team (particularly if you scrap the whole 'make new stuff on old features'), just a dedicated team to look at what doesn't work and
fix it.
Powerplay being the best example of a feature that
really doesn't need that much in terms of resources and time to get on a better, more enjoyable,
and more meaningful path. It goes back to that idiotic mindset: if you don't play it, we won't work on it.
Knucklehead,
if we're not playing it, it's probably because you need to FIX IT.
Sheesh. Few things get me more riled up than nonsense excuses. I wonder if folks at FDev sell their cars when the battery dies, or toss out the TV when the remote doesn't work anymore, or throw away french fries when the ketchup runs out.
