Why contact customer support when you can post an Open Letter on the forum or start an Internet Petition?

Elite is continuing to burn players and the statement today regarding VR Support isn't helping. I've noticed a trend that people tend to quit the game on either Monday or Tuesday. Current numbers are below the pre-odyssey numbers. If it stabilises here, we will be at roughly December 2019 levels, but I've seen no indication of that being the case. Complaints were starting to die down due to people leaving but the VR stuff lit a fire under the community and things kicked off again it seems lol.

makes post asking why FDEV is trying to force me to play in a way i dont want to. I'm supposed to blaze my own trail and do things how i want but I'm not allowed to take any diplomatic missions unless i'm on foot! Also, i can't acquire suit upgrade materials while in my space ship or use the personal weapons i'm transporting 3 tons of for like 1200 credits and i'm being forced instead to buy personal weapons from some on-foot only vendor for 300,000 credits for 1 that weights only a few pounds. Why am i being punished because i can do simple math and see that 4700 credits for 1 ton of something is better than hundreds of thousands of credits for 10 lbs? Why does Fdev hate their players?!
I am glad though that Fdev got smart and fixed exo biology. I was worried that would force me to do something new. I can totally stare at a plant and get elite ...i've got hundreds of hours of exploring under my belt.
Demands fdev give him all of the suits and weapons fully engineered because his time is not being valued during the current game mechanics and he's a busy person who really likes the game but can't be bothered to play it more than 12 minutes every third sunday and without getting them all fully upgraded for nothing, he'd never be able to experience them. which is not how he wants to play (so false advertising).
