Nope. I'm on the "as soon as reports from reliable folk indicate that it now runs similar to EDH as advertised until they conveniently updated the reqs hours before launch, I'll throw my money so fast at FDev that it'll break the space-time continuum" bandwagon. :)

And believe me, I WILL throw my money at them that fast, because I've seen now on these forums and various YouTube vids what it looks like when it DOES work, and I WANT that!

Posted fix to "won't load after Steam update" on other thread two hours ago (validate in launcher), checks back. Finds that:

A) Not a single one who tried it failed to get it to work after that.
B) People are still yelling and screaming, having obviously ignored every single post in the thread or they would have noticed the fix.

Retires to desert island in the Pacific and puts up sign saying:

"To Humanity: Trespassers will be SHOT. Survivors will be shot AGAIN, as many times as necessary"

Realizes nobody will read that either, orders massive quantity of ammunition.

I've got plenty. Well, not enough, but I'm beginning to have trouble finding places to store them. The dog can't even get in his doghouse ferpity'ssakes.

I don't need a stack of 'em who don't work and, if I need to upgrade them, I can't just truck on down to the local store and buy the accessories to slide on the Picatinny rails.

Other than that, you nailed it! :)
