I bought a second Millennium Falcon set yesterday for the parts. What I fear is one day I will go "this is still not good enough" and do something crazy and start over.
In some ways its good because you can optimize the build (since you know how things can be made).
A bigger question is: what do I do afterwards? Is there an afterwards? I can see myself just tweaking it and building dioramas.
One thing is sure, smaller models next time like this 30 minute fun project:

Do you just use original parts or do you print some specifics yourself?
Isn't that a waste of Material?
Edit: nevermind, I missed the "out of LEGO bricks" part.

All original Lego parts, bar some basic generic Chinese ones.
The only need really for printed parts here would be the side parts of the cockpit glazing (if I chose to do so).
I read it as supermerkel and wondered briefly what connection the German Chancellor had with either meccano or the Spitfire.

And ont forget the Michael Bay effect: lens flares, nothing works without lens flares!
