I think it's more of a case that if you know/suspect that something is going to be poop, and STILL decide to pay for it, well, you can voice your opinion all you want, but what sticks if that it was still good enough for you to pay for it. And as a consumer, you have many, many ways to assess product quality ahead of purchase.

By comparison, professional reviewers have to buy the product in order to review it so you don't have to.
$55 was too much for me to pay to test something.

But, I got to watch a lot on Twitch and You Tube, for free...

I never compromise with thrusters. I don't do the min-maxing routine for maximum jump range, but rather have a fully functional ship. I'm very content with the range. :)
Same here, although with a balance against jump range. All my weapons/mining tools/limpet controllers and scanners are mounted together with the best-performance thrusters I could fit. And everything run with the little 3A Power Plant that could. Power management is quite akin to micro management on the great exploration Krait II "Mariposa".

Yeah, also skipped the whole power plant and module management part and installed a Guardian power plant. :D
Does the job very well, is pretty light and no engineering required. I got a lot of stripped down mods on other parts though.
Also engineered shields and armour. This ship hasn't exploded once since I bought it. Which was the day it was released. Built it specifically for Distant Worlds 2 back then.
