I can make a DETERMINISTIC explanation for this fact, based on:

- growth rate of my hair,
- my wife's increasing level of being annoyed by ugly chaos OUTSIDE of my head
- number of promises I made to get a haircut "tomorrow" I already broke
- me sensing that doing it again will trigger exaggerated reaction, because of PMS
