They are listed under "Optimisations":

Optimisation
  • Various audio optimisations have been made.
  • Adjustments to scaleform texture updates to fix GPU stalls.
  • Fixes to the stability of the occlusion culling system.
  • Inner dock geometry and landing pads now have occlusion meshes.
The bottom three will result in FPS improvements. They can't say "Improved performance by X fps" because this is highly dependent on what hardware you have. But these three things will result in performance improvements regardless of your hardware. Item 2 and 3 will be performance improvements nearly everywhere, and item 4 will be performance improvements while in a space station. Item 2 will generally speaking reduce frame rate jitter, and 3 and 4 will stop the game from drawing some of the stuff that you can't actually see, thus reducing the amount of GPU cycles it takes to draw a frame.

I really hope this will fix the micro stutter. Really uncomfortable to play.

2 lines that pretty much destroyed the whole point of adding Shared missions to the end game. For thousand of BGS players, it's pretty much back to Solo Missions on the ground.
Unless i misuderstood something and some one could correct me on this?
Seems perfectly reasonable to me. 1 commander gets some friends to help him do 1 mission, that's one mission completed for that faction so that's 1 dollop of inf.
 
When I turn down the graphics to Low, it almost looks like some sort of sharpening filter is being applied. Could someone confirm?

Sure, it worked like that with wing missions as well but the payout and difficulty were higher than the non shared missions
Edit : So you would get several wing missions and finish them all as a wing. With this normal missions being shared on foot it just makes no sense for end game content

Thanks for yet another big update.
Im a bit sad that this is it for now until console release, but well, as long as it is playable. U4 increased my Settlement-Fps from 20 to 45, sadly still on Low-Medium Settings, but better than not playing at all.

Still hoping for some balance changes and Odyssey-Story where Spacelegs are a feature. I understand that you want to include Horizons Players, but excluding Odyssey Players cant be the Solution.

Lets hope that we can now unlock these stupid Engineers with their stupid Opinion Polls and Smear Campaigns :p
 
It just seems that after 6 weeks of this so called "release" all we got is a very basic option that should be included on launch - sharing missions with friends in a multiplayer game. Almost like - we couldn't bother with anything new beside the bare minimum being added before the release on consoles.
 
Yep, just advising that the Mauve Snakes are striking again.

Biggest takeaway at the moment is performance has improved, yet stuggles with consistant play. glass and reflections seem to be the biggest killer, love the effect but its the biggest one that seems to impact performance, otherwise its +30fps in some places with a couple of spots on a surface getting 60fps. Still a massive stride, but there is very little difference in performance change between MEDIUM, HIGH & ULTRA settings. I am going to stick with Ultra and just power through what I can.

But an update with regards to the glass/reflection issue and if its going to be addressed sooner rather than later would be lovely.

@sallymorganmoore thank you again for being in touch with the community and the devs for their increased hard work to improve the game. Granted it is far from perfect, but going by the patch notes, so much work has gone into it.

Due to mauve adders this Commander cannot get to a space station for more ammo, so I have yet to poke around. The in cockpit UI looks much better! No more eye strain, thank you! But please bring back the percentages for progression in combat, exploration etc ranks, the bars are impossible to work out progression.

Looking forward to seeing the further changes.
