We all know this forum dosen't get anywhere. Other games have actual tools that work much better.
I agree with your comparison, but actually, Horizons sometimes reminded me of 90' games, so I'm not sure it was that better...
Might be your monitor and the VSync settings?
And it's only important because with the second fastest card from Nvidia on the market you can barely play this game. Very decent performance....

I'm detecting a little bit of sunk cost fallacy.
They promised better communication, but they flopped on that almost immediately. They are right back at it again.
It is my belief that Frontier needs some tough love right now. No free passes or undeserved praise.
When we see actual improvement, then maybe we can start rolling out the praise and encouragement.

So, do you mean the FASTEST card from nvidia may run it decently ? You always look at the negative side, and never at the positive one !
My post was more intended to the devs, because most people here are like you, tkaing the easy and comfy side: complaining about everything, so I hoped they would notice that rare message thanking them. But I don't expect you to uunderstand.

Even with their old flagship card (1080Ti) mine is pegged at ~98% GPU and slowly starts to cook itself the longer I stay in a star port.
Not good.
I will thank them when and if the game works as expected on my hardware. Right now it doesn't. And none of the changes mean squat, if it runs subpar.
I'm in the exact middle with my 2080 and can also cook eggs on my PC....
I know they are very bad at listening and communicating... But I love the game, so I play the game even if it is not perfect. Have you noticed the agressivity out there? Negativity arounfd the game is something I resent: if they don't like it, they can quit.

The individual developers actually fixing these issues don't deserve any praise as they've been handily clumped in with 'FDev' who were responsible, thereby meaning they're obligated to get the same level of blame and mean spirited behaviour from the adults on here.
Be honest: what percentage of the game runs low? On my computer, maybe less than 5% of the time, this is not great, but not terrible either.
But do not worry, it does run on something that costs the same as a used car right now due to artificially inflated crypto prices
It would be less than 1%, perhaps,if I didn't play Odyssey content and just stayed in my spaceship, sure. I Could troll on the forums saying how great it is, without ever visiting a settlement or concourse area. Ignoring all the additional bugs it brings along to the other areas of the game of course.
But I have been attempting too, quite a lot actually.. so in the last weeks, its probably 70% of the time there are noticeable performance issues.
It's not about agreeing or disagreeing, not at all. The evidence is there, it is a fact the game has problems and they are even acknowledged by FD.
