gandpa will kiss it and it will heal before the wedding bells ring. ;)
I'll lie like Ci¬G about the skinned knee of course, I'll tell all my mates I high sided the Harley pulling a wheelie :)

Took a trip to Wala, was walking around on there (suited) and just dropped dead lol is it a very dangerous planet surface?

You need a helmet on Wala...like most, if not all of moons. Either the atmosphere isn't breathable or there'll be extreme hot or cold temperatures limiting the time you can wander around without specialist armour. I think in the more temperate regions on Microtech or Hurston there's a breathable atmosphere...don't quote me on that if you die choking when you step out of the Titan. Some moons require the special heavy build environmental suits for any extended time on the surface on foot, there's a hot or cold version of the suit...Pembroke or Novikov armour respectively. Pembroke armour can be bought from any refinery (L1 R&R stops) in the mining supply shop...Novikov armour is available at port Tressler orbital station up at Microtech.

There's a little HUD indicator bottom left of your screen that'll tell you that you're dying or taking heat or cold damage...not visible of course if you're not wearing a helmet :D

The Pembroke high temperature armour (or Novikov) is required if you go surface mining in a ROC buggy.

As Mole said: helmet on for safety.

Saying that i've died after landing at a pad and running into the station, as my helmet came off somehow - you can check by going to 3rd person (default F4); and died running through a doorway(?), plus numerous damage / falling over running about with no obvious reason.

Had my first "30K crash", so feel like a real citizen now :D

CR blowing clouds out of his rear end again...

Yes Chris, 1/10 the scale of what MSFS has, and less realistic, and not based on real weather data. Even Crusader, a gas "giant" is probably no bigger than Earth. If you ever do implement Earth, its going to be the size of Italy.

What's even funnier is, the faithful eat comments like this up and then regurgitate it or get defensive when someone points out what a load of tosh it is.

Anyway, how many games has CR now compared SC favourably against?

CoD, ED, NMS, Skyrim, GTA, RDR2... any others? Oh, of course, the time around 2014 where he said he would put SQ42 up against any AAA game out there... yeah, how did that one work out?

His whole MO is basically to say how his unreleased buggy game is better than released quality games.

He spooned the 'Star Citizen is all great and wonderful' on a bit thick for my taste...but I get it. His is not an uncommon story, certainly in recent weeks, truth be told. Casual original backer rediscovers SC after being disappointed by Odyssey then uses video to try and justify why ...and an object lesson why you don't visit the RSi store when suffering from depression

Good and fairly honest video...though It'll certainly ruffle a few feathers and bring out the freelancing internet accountants on here...that's fer sure :D

Seems a bit fan-boyish, spent $3000 on the game, which we all know is super buggy and unplayable  Only watched the first of minutes, having too much fun to watch right now, i need to buy a Gallant rifle (again) and do some more shooting and exploring and screenshot taking at all the cool things to look at and do.

Oh, and the planet terrain is super impressive!
I'd done a bunker mission, errr where you flying in and there's turrets that obliterate one's little ship in seconds then clear an underground area with about 8 bad guys, and flew in hugging the ground to avoid fire from the AA guns, sliding between hills, and parked about 600m away. The climb over the hills felt very realistic. Cleared bunker. On the way back i found i there was too many little canyons, and actually got a bit lost (using 3rd person) trying to find my way up this hill side, needed quite a bit of back-tracking and circling the hill.
The topography just seemed so spot on.

I guess this is the "problem" with SC that is so sim-y for a game-gamer you're "wasting time" with the detail put it, but great for immersion-gamers.
Some detail does seem extraneous, like using a Medpen being a convoluted multistep process, and no "let me just inject some heal-feels right now plz!" action ;)

They only just changed the medpen function...it used to be press C (or B or V... whatever it was) and get the juice. They shifted the med and oxypens over to an inventory slot for when the full player inventory system comes in...or so they said.

You can still just press C (or B or V..whatever it is) then click left mouse button once the pen appears in your paw to inject if you have the med and oxypens in the inventory slots, you don't need to faff about in inner thought or anything unless you want to re-store the pen in your inventory instead of using it :)
